@Rebel: Jess needs you help/advice on her Misa Amane wig...what to order, from where, how/who can style it for her, etc. Could you do some research if you have spare time & see what you could do to help her?

@Griff: I got my keychains yesterday but the guy I was supposed to get them from had just went home so the other people only gave me 2 of them. He is supposed to call me today & I am going to ask him about the 3rd one.

Ya, that is the part of the costume that I think she is most worried about...she has the rest kinda figured out. We think that we have her Amber Sweet figured out also but not sure yet...that one will need a wig in the end as well. As for me, I don't know that Repoman is gonna be ready by Sakuracon

It's running into some tough spots right now to meet that time frame. Plus, I still need to order my pants, boots, & kidney belt for it which I might have to wait a little while for money. Might just have to suffer with my half-ass Genesis for S-con if I get the pants fixed.

The keychains look awsome though! They look just like the lettering that is on my door sill's that I had installed. I still don't know that I would like WKC honestly...or at least not for $60 I wouldn't

Meh...home is where you make it IMO. Although I do love the city more, its not so bad here depending on your friends, hobbies, attitude, & & home-life...plus it helps if you don't mind the outdoors.

So, Update from Le Prez:
Life is suckish currently. One thing after another and what not, my comp died, gonna cost me almost 400 bucks to fix.
I would lie to have the next meet in Bend, as my friend Mayggin is in town this weekend, and I would like to bring her to the next meet, but don't want to drag her outta Bend if it's at all possible. But if we decide we want it elsewhere, that's cool, I'll either work it out with her or miss it xD

So yeah, comp dead, so I can't be on the forums much, but I'll hop on when I can. If you don't hear from me by Wednesday on here, someone give me a call and let me know the plans please! ^^

I don't see any reason why not. Who in the group do you already know? This next weekends meet is gonna be a little light being as a few of us will be out of town for it but you are more than welcome to keep checking this thread for the meet information. Pat will post something during the week...usually I would post it, but seeing as I will be gone, I won't be helping arrange this next meet. Look forward to meeting you when I return.

@Rebel: What day were you thinking of stopping by this week? I will be at the dentist Tuesday at 4pm & leaving town Friday...so any other time works for me. Just shoot me a text or something & let me know

Anyway, my name is Chris & I am the VP for the group...I do a lot of our event coordinating such as information for our meetups. Most of the time we just hang out, watch anime or movies, play video games, etc...sometimes we plan other activities. Pat & I have been discussing some trips to the coast & stuff...like around summer time probably. Pat is the president of the group...his comp is having issues at the moment as you no doubt noticed from his post above. I will text him & tell him to pop on here. Keep an eye out for information posted by either Pat or I regarding the details of each weeks meetup.

Those days are fine...Wednesday is better but both work. If I somehow manage to have Friday off work(chances are slim to none

), then we would be leaving Thursday night. But at this point...I seriously doubt my boss will let me off Friday lol.

There is no one man says if you can or can't show up policy...we are rather laid back in that respect. Feel free to show up to this weeks meet, I let Pat know that you would be coming. You are free to cosplay whenever you want, although most of the time we don't...as I mentioned before, we are pretty relaxed most of the time. I can get Pat's address & PM it to you if you need it.

*UPDATE* If this storm that is coming in makes the pass too dangerous to drive on or requires people to carry chains or traction tires...Jess & I will not be travelling. If that is the case, we will see you guys this weekend...but it would have to be pretty bad for us to cancel(Mom's B-day
