Well, Chris and I would like to do some things with the group:
1) Come up with a catchy name
2) Establish ourselves within the con community
3) Brainstorm epic meet ideas

On the last note, we currently have 3 ideas for down the road:
1) Ice Skating @ The Inn of the Seventh Mountain (7$ for admission, 5$ for ice skate rental)
2) Tubing @ Mt Bachelor (I believe its 35$ for a day pass)
3) Trip to the coast (We'd be splitting a beach house, we'll work out those details later, worked out to about 40$ a person for the entire weekend plus the cost of food)

So yeah, those are some ideas for meets down the line
Also, Mid/Late January there will be another cosplay shopping trip so we can (hopefully) start getting things together to start our FF Cosplay.

Dead & gone long ago...

As for the meet ideas, Bachelor is $26-30 for the tubing prices...there are cheaper & free days though, just have to find out when since its been years for me. The coast trip is merely my invitation for you all to join Jess & I on our yearly expedition to eat at Sada's Sushi Bar & play around the shops & museums on the coast. We have gone there almost every summer for a long time & always use a beach house on the ocean. This would of course be something to be discussed more in detail when the time rolls around.

We decided to have a HDC gift exchange with a price limit of course, we can draw names & decide limits & when to exchange during next weeks meetup. Would be fun to do a little something for the holiday.

We have a ton of snow here too, we'll make it later at night then for you Griff, but you gotta bring Ninja and Mini-Man if they're interested XD

We could make it Friday though, but that's immediately after Thanksgiving, so IDK what everyone's plans are, and who may/may not be out of town.

Friday is a no-go day for Jess & I. Her mother has to work on Thanksgiving so we are doing ours Friday...Saturday is sadly the best for us. If people know for sure they will be able to participate in the exchange but will have trouble making it for the draw, we can always draw for them. Only thing there is, if you say you want to do it, you do it...there is no changing your mind after we draw names as it would throw everything off & be un-fair to others. I think that a $20 gift would be perfect for this sort of thing as there are plenty of gifts that you can get for that & it isn't too much to spend. Any feedback on this would be great.

I'm not in school nor do I like the cold lol...so I hate it. Work does not cancel or late start for anything shy of a fire lol...so it just means crappier conditions to travel in.

Basically we all put our names in something, and take turns drawing names
Whoever you draw, you buy a gift for them
20$ is about what we were thinking would be a good limit, so around 15-20 bucks or something
You redraw if you get your own name >_>

Also, I vote ventrilo since I already have my own server & its easy to use for me...but we need to talk more about this at the next meet as net meetings are not always going to be easier to make than in person ones.

Okie dokie, well, Wabi Sabi opens officially tomorrow at 12:00.
It's behind the down town Goodies in bend.
It's the new Japanese bull-pucky store, and if you would like to meet there for our friday meet up, that would be awesome.
What ever time is good.
I will most likely chill there for a while tomorrow, as well as friday ^^
