! Sounds good with me that we have it at your house.
So it looks like this:

Where: Chris's House
Who: Katie, Griff (possibly), Ninja, Miniman, Zash, Chriss and Jess
When: 7:00 PM January 1st 2010!

Is big Zach coming? I would like to see him again

Well, looks like I won't be going to the game afterall because it starts too late...no loss really, I hate sports lol. With that in mind, here is the official meet info for Friday this week:

Where: My place
When: Friday, January 1st @ 5pm til whenever people need to go home

What: Mini-meetup to hang out, watch movies/anime, play video games & eat some sort of junk food.

Since I will pretty much be home all day, you are more than welcome to show up early & hang out...but as always, please call or text to be sure I am there. If we want some kind of food cooked up, we could all throw down on a pizza or something when we gather...I'm always willing to grill up food for people. I honestly don't know how you had the wrong number for me...I remember you calling it for directions one meetup...I will PM it to you again though.

@Zash: The Christmas meet was Zack's last...he moved to Portland Monday. As far as next weekend goes, let's make it official...only thing left to be decided is the time & if at all possible, I would prefer around 5ish rather than later.

I do believe Zash is offering his place for the meet on the 8th...more video games, ping pong, etc. We were going to go there this week but decided to wait for everyone else to be back...plus it would have been hard on Griff due to work.

We probably wont find out, because the 3 people that actually know how to play are going to MEW, and we wouldn't be able to tell, because she'd most likely just kick all of us in to the ground (all but Griff Dx).

Most fighting games really aren't my cup of tea honestly...there are a few that I like & am good at, but other than those, I avoid them. I do enjoy LOTS of games though...just different types.

Personally, I say we should start working on our skit, and (if we are going to do one) our panel plans.
We don't want a barely rehearsed skit, and we do not want a boring panel.
I'll bring this up at the next meet up as well, but I just thought that I should post it on here.

Kumoricon is only 8 months away (only, xD)
As surprising as that may be, it's not that long of a time.
With one meet up a week, and 4 weeks a months that's 32 meet ups.
- (lets say) 10 for ones that not everyone can make it to, therefore we are unable to practice our skit.
That gives us aprox. 22 meet ups to plan a skit, plan a panel, and get our costumes ready.

I say, we should get started ASAP.
But maybe that's just me

I will have my Black Mage done by Sakura (I hope!) Con was super fun. Also, IDK if I can make it all the way to Zash's personally, I'm low on funds cuz of MEW for about 2-3 weeks, so gas is an issue, I'll be lobbying for Irene's place (I still have to talk to her about that)
Also, I would love for us to get together and play some Apples to Apples as well ^^

I want our Panel to have a "Rant And Rave" section
We'll have some quiet techno playing (You'd be able to hear it, but the person up front could talk over it)
Then, you have to Rave
While you rave, you're allowed to Rant

I agree...not really my cup of tea either. As for the panel, I don't think we should set that as a goal quite yet. One step at a time...no need to put seconds on our plate before we finish the first serving. Let's talk a bit about it at our next meet.

On that note, is there any way the people riding with you can pitch in again for fuel Pat? Its only fair to try & rotate meet places for people so that parents aren't always doing the driving.
