Since ODOT has put traction tire/chain restrictions in effect now, it's looking like 2 options for Jess & I right now...

1. Spend $600 on brand new winter tires from Les Schwabs & go over hood as planned, hoping that the weather doesn't get so bad that we are forced to use chains as well.

2. Follow Hwy 97 through Shaniko, all the way up to I-84, then start heading west through the Dalles toward Portland. Hoping that this route stays snow free like it is right now, it's looking like a long adventure for Jess & I.

Either way I am not very happy about...looks like I am going to leave even earlier on Thursday than expected.

I won't let anything ruin this trip for me, so if I have to add an extra 80-100 miles to my journey there...so be it! It just sucks...all winter long we barely get more than rain. Now that it's supposed to be the beginning of spring, there is a massive snow storm.

Sorry for the double post...just wanted to give you guys a heads up.

Remember back when you all were first getting to know Jess & I?

You remember that night we all saw Evil Dead the Musical & went to Shari's afterward?

Remember the part where Chris had to work the next morning which was a Saturday & I mentioned that when we are busy, that's how my work always is?

Well it's here peoples. By the look of my orders, our business year is now starting. We already started working OT last week & now they are talking about working Saturdays too. Orders are piling in & we are starting to look way over capacity to get them done on time without working a lot more.

The reason I bring this up, is so that there is not surprise if I am told on a Thursday/Friday that I have to work Saturday. That has a very nasty habit of ruining plans & my work has a very nasty habit of telling us at the last minute.

Don't take this the wrong way, I will still be able to hang out & go to meets & I plan to do so. I just might have to go home earlier in some instances. I will do my very best to continue to rotate where we meet...just don't be upset with me if I have to go home to get some sleep as I wake up insanely early for work. Also, we can still have meets at my house, but I will make sure to plan them on weekends that I know I won't be working.

Zash's Semi Weekly Update!

Well, S Con was fantastic. There are already pictures of me on the internet! The pass was scary on our way home. Tomorrow is school and I wish I was back at S Con forever. Looks like I'll have to wait until K Con.

I would like the meet to be at my place this week cause it is the second week of the month. SO unless there are any objections, I'd be awesome to see you guys here Friday.

Ok so I am posting on my Sakura-con account trying to get more pictures of my repoman because Jess & I didn't get too many good ones...but I will post the ones I have for now. We don't have any of Jess's Misa Amane so we are looking for those too.

I have some modifications to do to the mask before the next con...also a little to the apron. We repaired the issues I had with the LEDs in Seattle but I want to upgrade that system as well. Other than that...epic success! I got camera & glomp raped like mad in that cosplay lol.

All of you girls are were completely adorable as well! LOVED your cosplays, awsome job. Didn't get to see Zash's Nana so he has to wear it to the meetup this Friday. Also, Jess didn't get to see Irene in her organization XIII cosplay so she has to wear that. I didn't see much of Pat so I assume he was gaming mainly

I will look into options for this Fridays meetup Zash...Jess & I were thinking our house but yours might work out as well. We haven't done it here in a while though so I will as around & figure it out. Also, great to hear from you Bailee...sucks you didn't make Sakur-con, we missed you there...look forward to seeing you back here this summer.
