I hate your job...

To those of you going to pirate festival with me, don't eat dinner before we leave that friday. We will be stopping at Calamity Jane's which is just 2 hours from here on the way to portland. Most amazing burger joint ever! & yes, they have multiple vegetarian options.

Pirate Festival is next weekend & we are leaving Friday the 17th in the evening.

We have space in the room to share & we would love to have you there bro! It's $18 a day at the door since none of us actually pre-ordered out tickets for $15 online lol. Plus, we are splitting the second night at the hotel between all who come...which is going to be pretty cheap. Jess & I were just going to pay for the first night ourselves since most people can't come up with money as easily...but you are more than welcome to pitch in on that too.

My car however, might be full if Katie confirms with her parents that she can go...so you would have to take yours & just meet us at Calamity Jane's & then the hotel. That might not be such a bad thing though if a couple more in our group decide they want to go.

The festival conflicts with Yom Kippur, which is basically the most important of the Jewish holidays, and it's a day of fasting. The way it works, it starts on sundown of the 17th and goes to sundown of the 18th. I was prepared to miss services on the day of the 18th, but go to services the night before and just not eat during the day. However, if we go the night of the 17th and stop for dinner then too, it means I miss services completely and you guys are torturing me. :<

I wasn't aware of this when we booked the room & made arrangements a couple monthes ago...little hard to change plans so close to D-day. I don't want to torture you, originally everyone seemed set on going up Friday & staying until Sunday so we went ahead & payed for our room. Because they are the only hotel offering the Pirate Festival rates...they were running out of room fast. Would really suck if you couldn't go, but I don't want you to suffer either. Please let me know ASAP if you are still gonna make it...PM works best.

There will be a meet this week. As for details, I am waiting to hear from my doctor tomorrow before I post any. There is a good chance that I won't be able to drive on Friday because of surgery...& if that is the case & I'm not in too much misery, we might just met at my place.

Ok...so there is no chance that I will be able to drive Friday at all. It's also looking like having the meet at my house might not be a good idea considering I will probably just be resting or out of it most of the day. Since I don't know for sure how I am going to feel that day, let's plan on not having it at my house...that way I don't have to change my mind last minute if I feel like crap. I will text around & see who's place is available this weekend.

I will be going in for surgery tomorrow morning...from what I am told, the recovery is going to be kind of miserable. So, you guys probabaly won't get to see me this week. Since I am supposed to be leaving to go hunting next weekend, you won't see me for about 3 weeks it looks like. If I am feeling well enough, I might try to find a ride to the meet this weekend so I can see you guys...we'll just have to wait & see.

Sorry for the double post guys...but I thought I would put up some more information for you guys. Got the sutures by my eye out today & the healing is looking good so far. That means that I will be going hunting this week & will be gone for a week & a half...2 more meetups. If Pat or Rebel could go ahead & arrange those 2 meets for me while I am gone, that would be awsome! I will text you guys to make sure somebody takes care of this.
