like the subject, I was wondering, what would you like to see more people cosplay as? Which anime do you think should have more recognition? and if this subject has already been done, I apologize, but I'm to lazy to go through the forum's to see if it has been done yet or not. As for me, I would like to see more gunslinger girls (because that series is well done) Gintama, Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien, and a few others that come to mind right now.

definitely desert punk, that show is hilarious... I think Im just tiered of seeing so many people cosplaying as one type of character, like naruto, or bleach characters... let's see some variety.

yes, that is definitely lacking in the cosplay department, and makes me sad. But another one I want to see is Cosgrove from Freakazoid... I know it's not an anime, but he's just so awesome, it's worth it.

I just want to see more people take an interest in cosplaying from 's-CRY-ed'.
It's such an underloved anime/manga in my opinion, so I'd like to see more of that.
I'd settle for people making up random HOLY members and alter users, too. >/

If it's any consolation one of these years I want to go as Kazuma.
I just need to get my skills up to that point.

That's funny cause I was playing with the idea of having my friends and I go as HOLY members.

I rarely see people cosplay from the classic anime shows/manga like Ranma 1/2 or Deltora Quest. And now I think about, I also rarely see people cosplay from IGPX or Gundam....

I really want to cosplay as Miyu from DearS, it'd be cool to have a Ren or Takeya to join me too.
(though really if I did that, I'd have my bf be Takeya)

Oh and Gungrave, that series never got the publicity it was worth. I've never seen a Grave at any anime con. (I might just see about getting my bf to dress up in that.

I know it's not an anime yet, but I'd just die if I saw an Eclipse from Demon Diary <3

ya, gungrave is definatly one Im surprised not a lot of people cosplay as... another good one is Lunar Legend Tsukihime, that was really well done, but it's almost not even heard of, same for peacmaker.

First and foremost, more Baccano! cosplayers. I'd love to see Higurashi cosplayers that do something else except the school and casual outfits for the main 4 girls. Some Angel Mort outfits or the penalty outfits in the OVA's (Maybe even K-1's swan swimsuit). Umineko no Naku Koro ni cosplayers would be excellent as well.
Last Exile, Eden of the East, older anime like Gunsmith Cats (OH LORD, IT WOULD BE SO WIN) and stuff from Leiji Matsumoto's works.

And much less Bleach, Naruto, and the newer Final Fantasy's. I'm getting sick and tired of it all.

that's the whole reason I made this thread, because I see far to much of Bleach and Naruto as it is, and to much from FF 7 and 8... I wouldn't mind seeing some 9 and 10, because they are still really good, but not used all that much.

the ones i'd like to see more poeple cosplay as is Yu Yu Hakusho, Weiss Kruze, and sure it's not an anime or a manga but a Manhua is 1/2 Prince.

I am one of the few that continues the old characters. I have Inuyasha and trunks under my belt, and Tuxedo Mask, Pokemon yellow version Pikachu, and Goku under construction.

I would like to see some Gundam Wing and maybe the old and better Speed Racer. Funny enough, Sailor Moon is one of the originals that made such an impact, no dares to forget about it as much as others.

As far as Big O goes, I have a dream cosplay of either Rodger Smith, or Norman (loved the episode when he used a heavy MG).

I remember being 5-6 years old and playing Sailor Moon with my sister and the neighbor girl.

Annnd I see a decent amount of these, but as a big Yoshihiro Togashi fan, Hunter x Hunter & Yu Yu Hakusho cosplay is ALWAYS loved. <3 I just love his character designs so so much, and the characters are all so amazing. <3

Perhaps you aren't noticing them... I've seen a few Kenshin, Sanosuke, and Kaoru's around these few years... Then again, I'm blinded by all the Bleach, Naruto, and Death Note... LOL.

I'd love to see some people cosplay from Requiem from the Darkness, as the four main characters (Nagamimi, Ogin, Mataichi, and Momosuke). It would be such an epically dark group, it'd blow me away to actually see it cosplayed.

I'd also like to see people cosplay from Armitage III, Le Chevalier D'Eon, Speed Grapher....these all would be great. Great for publicity in spreading word of the shows as well as rocking my face clean off with awesome.

oh ya, it would be awesome, especially seeing Ogin and Mataichi, two of my favorite characters. But I'm glad I'm not one of the only people who watches this amazing series.
