I had a LOVELESS cosplay meet up recently, and made friends. We should have a meet up at the Lloyd center mall, or something. So we already know everyone at the con and we don't have to spend three days just startingto be friends and not really talking for a whole nother year. We could go Ice Skating. PLus, I need some inititave to want to work on Oz, or Gil. xD

If its at the Lloyd Center I dont think I could come because Im not aloud to go to th Llloyd center without an adult. Actually basically anywhere downtown. XP (paranoid parents)

Is it in Portland? I live right outside of Portland so its hard for me to go to places there. Especially downtown. I think the only places I could go are Cooks Park and Washington Square D':

Reynolds is in Troutdale (I should know, I was on my high school track team and we went out there). I've never heard of the Imagination Station either, but it sounds like it would be a good possible place to have a meet-up. But whatever works for you guys. I could probably get a ride wherever.

It saddens me to say I might not be able to cosplay Alice this year as so much I hoped. I can not find boots and Im not very motivated at the moment. Hopefully I can pull through but we'll have to see.
Prehaps I will consider Young Vincent again.... Darn it, he has white boots too D;

But even if I drop out (which hopefully I wont) I will still update the thread and everything.

Awww, sad. Have you tried looking at gogo boots? They seem pretty close to her boots.

Also, I'm not feeling very motivated as well, so I might drop Cheshire... =.= Either that, or I need to find someone to commission his costume for me... or you know, just find a website that sells a good costume of his.

I've got my Oz cosplay together! I working on getting the wig styled right now(procrasinating because it's evil hair) and I'm gonna get the boots around June. I've also gotten my scythe put together and working on getting my cape made to have the 'Oz has gone mental and has a scythe! Run for you life' cosplay. (Elliot and Reo's beware )

I also wanted to bring up how my friends are doing. We actually had a bit of change going on. We lost our cosplayer who was going to be our Alice and found another friend who is going to try and be an Ada for us. We are not currently looking for a new Alice to do pictures with, but that shouldn't be to hard. My group's Gilbert has her cosplay pretty much together as well and getting her wig now. I'm also making her a gun to go with her outfit. The only problem we're having with her outfit is the lack of an awesome hat to go with it.

Were slowly getting there. Its all almost ready and then were going to take some pictures(at least me and Gil)! I'm just so freaking excited for K-con!

Yep I was holding a Will of the Abyss Plushy I made. Sadly when I improved it a few months later (not mention I was up all night hand sewing the new details on it and remade a couple things) my dog ate it the next day. I was sad D: I guess you could say My Dog defeated the Will of The Abyss :'<

A lot of groups have been planning get togethers , and with con season approaching soon , we should organize a get together , or something , first off where is everyone based at ? (Like what city ?)

Me and my friends(cosplaying Oz, Gil, and Ada) all live down in Cottage Grove. And I also believe that we all have our cosplays finally together and ready to go for a meet up. The only person I'm not sure of would be our Ada.

I'm trying to figure out a possible photo shoot time that would work for everyone too. ^^ I would be interested in getting a group picture with all the Oz's there. xD

That is true. We wouldn't want to get left out. I'm thinking we may want to do it on Saturday since it is the first day and there will most likely be more people there that day anyways. As for time, that is still pretty much a whenever. xD

I'm not to familiar with the area around there. I was thinking we could set a place in the hotel to meet and then move the group to a better location afterwards. ^^ Or pick a place and then have someone help me and my friends find the area. xD

That might be a good idea, to meet in the hotel , but then we'd have to make sure to go to an area that doesn't have a group . D: So we would have no spot to call ours . Dx Pros and cons both ways !

Well, so far for the Saturday list they don't have anyone who is planning to meet up at the Hotel. They are mostly meeting at Pioneer Square. There is also the idea of meeting outside one of the restaurants around the hotel. There is a McDonalds and Subway around the corner from the hotel. Those are other ideas.

Okay. ^^ Here's another question, do we wanna do a photo shoot early in the day, afternoon, or in the evening? I know I'm planning to run around in the dark with glow sticks at one point which made me think cosplay photo photos closer to night might be fun. ^^

Noon or evening-ish . I say . (I can stay out this time , staying at the main hotel ~WIN~) the darkness could help the creepy effect of PH ? So duskish ?
Although night time in dt portland is ... a little terryfing sometimes .
(Me and Alice last year were followed by a drunken Bum , calling our name (we had them on sweatshirts we were wearing .))
