Yeah, unless you have sewn and made your own cosplays with patterns you have made, its not a good idea to go without one o-o Trust me, you could probably find a few patterns to alter to your needs. :3

My travel buddies and I were in a bit of a panic, as none of us have a car that could survive a trip from Spokane to Portland and back. But that has been resolved now, we are hiring my friend's father to drive us down and back, he's doing it cheaper than a rental car, and we don't have to pay for parking.

Spent a good chunk of today just LOOKING THRU FABRIC and sorting and puttling out things i thing i will need

lol i'm not panicking just rushing and getting things ready. Even though I guess i'm going to panic the day before. lol Because it seems I always forget something XP But i've got alot of work to do,
Here's what i've got done on my big sister top half.

Still need to finish my leg braces, gun and put on little details and one more cot of paint. And this cosplay will be done. Ten i've got to record our skit, make my Zatsune hair pieces ad get our show scripted out. XP Lots of work XP

Almost all my costumes are at 100%, but I still need to get all my choreography for my walk-on down pat and finish my secret cosplay's headband. I'll do it eventually this week, just as soon as I get my wig. I swears it.

- finishing my 'where the **** am I going during con?' Schedule
- Pay for my part of the room
- Go get badge Friday
- Wait for Yuna's feathers and make the wings
- Organize everything
- Pack everything
- Get more stuff for items
- Get more bottles for items
- Figure out where to stash stuff because my room is Sat. and Sun. and check in a four; need somewhere to stash things until then
- Pick fruit and get food for con

Yup... Probably forgot somethin' else, but oh well. ^^

I'm too nice, I keep agreeing to make my friends costumes even though I hardly have anytime left and haven't even finished some of my cosplays yet. I've still got to...
*Put fabric over Sandshrews ears and attach them to the hoodie
*Make one of Pidgey's head feathers, add brown to the wings and make the bag
*Make Togekiss' dress and style the wig
*Make Jacuzzi's Vest and Style the wig
*Force my boyfriend to go buy a labcoat for his cosplay
*Make Togetic's wings if I have the time
*Glue the triangles to my White Mage socks, make the bracelet and paint it
*Fix Victreebel's head and ass leaves and also find some nude boyshorts to wear under it
*Make a sign for something that's going on and make the Baccano! candy bars I promised to bring
*And wash my Victreebel and White Mage dress

All while still going to class and finishing homework for the week.
I'm really starting to freak out now.

I just hope I still have my voice by KCon, I feel like I'm losing it a little.

Im working on my stupid summer school so I can soon head out to the fabric store and get the last of my Rosette fabric <3 If I'm lucky we can leave at noon, be back about 1, and sew till 5 or 6, then I leave tonight with my dad. WHICH MEANS my mom can stay here and not bug me for a few days >:3 EVERYTHING is working out my way today <3

I had summer school but it only lasted till the end of July, thank goodness. Real school for me starts Tuesday, it's a good thing I'm done because I'll be way busy thanks to school.

My friends coat is done i promissed id help her with BUT my stuff still isnt finished yet!
Like:
- Hikaru wig needs styled
- Bakura wig's bangs need fixed
- Yami wig need to be made from scrach
- Have to make another one of Yami's braclets
- Finish Bakuras ring
- Paint Yamis puzzle
- Decided if im gonna have a rave outfit or just wear a cosplay im bringing already
- Style my friend Nicki's Kaoru wig
- Fix up Naygo's Kaiba wig i styled
- Find my Bakura pants

and probably other stuff im forgeting...*also has school the day after con so has to get that stuff ready too*

Well, I remember back in 2007 we were at the same hotel, and the day of check out I asked if we could stash our luggage with the hotel, and they said yes, and gave us a little ticket stub so that we could claim our stuff ^^ They were really nice about it.

I have so many cosplays to finish it is not even funny. Of course, I have all my own cosplays finished already (Neo Queen Serenity and Charlotte Elbourne), but my friends CANNOT manage time well... -.- My one friend wants me to help finish her cosplay, which is nearly done. All I need to do for her is put in the zipper on the back and gather the sleeves and she is doing the rest.

So here is a list I have to do x__x:

1. Finish friends cosplay with zipper and sleeves
2. Help make Inuyasha for a friend who can't sew, and decided NOW that he wanted to go...
3. Help my other friend redo her Roy Mustang jacket from scratch, cause the other fell apart and is too small now.
3. Help make Sailor Jupiter gloves for other friend.

Sounds like its not a lot, but my friends are LAZY and won't get working even with a week left till convention time... GAH.

here's a tip for all vocaloid cosplayers who need a headset PRONTO!

(i posted this on the vocaloid thread and now fatechooseme has a chance @ life XD)

O_O ok heres my best suggestion if u r desperate for a head set heres what i did once

1. go to a dollar store or like one of those "BEST BARGAN" stores
2. go find the cheapest headphones you can find @ the store
3. buy them (there only like a dollar max)
4. go home and get some stickers and paint and sparkly stuff and decorate them

(this would work if you dont want the exact head phones of luka ..... it wouldnt hurt to do kinda a parody headset

if you need the cute twiny thing on the head band part i say just go find a similar hair band at the dollar store or the store XD)
