Have a talent? Think you can impress a panel of 3 judges with it?...enough to not give you the GONG?
Then come to The Gong Show at Kumoricon '09! Hosted by former BakaZoku members (if anyone remembers us LOL)
The Gong show is a talent competition where contestants perform their talent or skill for a panel of 3 judges. However, if any (or even all) the judges feel the need for whatever reason they deem, they can hit the gong and gong you out....and then critique your performance. If you're able to last without being gong'd, you'll advance to the finals...if there is more than one survivor. Otherwise, the sole survivor is the winner!
Be warned though... This is a night-time adult 18+ panel, and the judges can turn into Simon Cowell clones...with much dirtier mouths. LOL
You can look up The Gong Show on youtube (or The Gong Show with Dave Atell...it's newer incarnation) for clips of the actual gameshow.
There will be a prize, but it will be revealed at the panel.
There is no sign up for the game. Just come with whatever you need to perform, get in the line of contestants, and do your thing when your turn comes up! Get gong'd out? Get back in line and try something else if you'd like! As impressive as it may be though, no nudity please. If you would like music played during your performance, please bring it on a CD, USB flash drive, or even an SD memory card. ID stamps will be checked at the door to keep minors out of the fray.
