I left right after I 'died' ( soo lame you gahs) because ~~Mom~~ big Chris wouldn't let me back in until I got some food. I returned in time to see you maul that woman with her own spear/staff whatever.

Also-a suggestion for next year. I didnt so much mind that I was taken out first, more that I did so in an amazingly fail way. A big reason being that I had no idea who my opponent was and I don think he knew 'me' either ( namley that Kanda doesnt **** die)

Next year instead of 20 pages of pointless banter ( fun as it is) why dont work more on...knowing thine enemy so to speak. I think that would help all around.

One thing I also noticed is that even when pieces were taken they were trying to do their own thing which made it hard for the other to actually end the battle quickly. Trying to fight back is nice and it makes it a little more entertaining, but don't use you attack idea when you are being taken. Roll with what the other person is doing.

I didnt stick around long enough but Ive seen it in other games. I honestly had NO idea what to do. Kanda being shot would be like " ow stop that" further more I REALLY dont think hed fight a girl but nooo I HAD to *grumble grumble*

I had a great time with this. xD Getting a chance to be both a piece and chess master was utterly amazing! The only thing I didn't like was that when I died the girl I was fighting actually hit me in the gut, and it hurt. Though I'm sure it wasn't on purpose, it was just a bit annoying. D: Plus my fight, when I finally got one, sucked. My opponent retreated before I got within five feet of them. >< Overall though this was just completely AWESOME!

One thing I thought that it could have used was some bantering between the chess masters xD; the periods between the two deciding their move were rather open and while the chess pieces did try and make up for it (minus the rapidly annoying 'heil roy!') it still seemed empty to me in a way. =\

Being in cosplay chess for the first time was really fun!

But...... I would have to agree with ~XHyuuga Neji~X~ that the time space between the two chess masters deciding where to move was very boring.

after I was defeated (I was alice from pandora hearts) the first time, I heard of a lot of people saying that the game was too boring and nothing exciting was happening. soooo me and along with the other pieces protecting the king tried to keep it entertaining as long as possible in our own little corner.

but I think that didn't help much.

oh well..... hope next year is even more exciting!

It was an honor to fight under your command and show everyone what the girls can do. That was alot of fun and everyone did a great job pulling it off.
I got alot of great ideas for next year's Sakura-con Cosplay Chess games and hope we will be able to have such fun players for our games too.

I must say i had a load of fun in Cosplay Chess... first timer i might add... i was Roxas with a heartless hat (red team)... .o. my head hurt from the first 2 days of trying to put spikes in my hair so i decided to hide the non spiked hair under that adorible hat > 3>;;;

but ya... i would SO! love to do that again As would my friend who cosplayed the C2 in the red team I honestly had no idea what to do for an attack since i was just randomly pulled out of the line XD

If Heather and I do our plan of Zidane and alternate costume Zidane then I'll enter my Zidane along with Squall and Tidus. Then we could have a IX group even if Heather doesn't want to be in(provided my Zidane will be good enough to get in. planning for the costume is already underway!)
