So. My friend is planning on introducing me to an odd concept; flirting. AND AT THE CON?!??! xD

Well, the story is I'm eighteen and have never flirt(or been on a real date but STFU. xD). I find boys pretty intimidating and/or stupid or arrogant. SO, she's making me loosen up and flirt. BE WARNED IF YOU'RE CUTE AND ASIAN~

I, personally, am a completely unconscious flirt. Like, I don't even realize I'm doing it half the time.
I take flirting as friendly conversation between two people with a relative amount of chemistry, it's fun and some awesome friendships can be formed if you find someone with similar humor.

Just be ready to back off, and don't come on too strongly. And own up to it too.

Likewise, if you don't like if someone else is flirting, don't be afraid to tell them. If you think you have *reason* to be afraid to tell them, report it to security. But if you tell them and they back away harmlessly, don't make a big deal out of it either.

Both sides are going to be sending out unintentional signals, and things are bound to be misinterpreted on all sides.

BLECH, mom's are dumb. Mine complained when you don't have a boyfriend at age 7, then yelled at you when you get one later.

And personally, it never matters the age you go on your first date, because it all comes down to if you ever met someone you liked enough to want to date. :0 Nothing else to it~

A different time a boy gave me a snowglobe for christmas but it broke, so he gave me his mom's diamond earrings. ^.^;
My mom was so wide-eyed when I got home and made me give them back.

O: You know I just realized it's her fault I had all those issues.
She's the one that made me apoligize and give stuff back. XD

I remember in second grade me and my best friend shared a boy, he was our boyfriend.
But then she moved so in third grade he was just mine. but then he moved so we called eachother every day for a month before our attention spans forgot about it.

Sorry to bring in some negativity, but I met my abusive ex at Kumoricon because I was mindlessly flirting. We were "together" for almost a (very miserable)year.

The moral of the story? DON'T FLIRT WITH JUST ANYONE.

Anyways, flirting with friends is fun, and if they introduce you to anyone they're probably safe to flirt with. Strangers who seem charming enough at first glance? Perhaps be a little more wary.
