I'm not worried about my costume. -_- I'm worried about my boyfriend not showing up tonight so mom can hem his pants to the correct length as my parents are leaving tomorrow afternoon for the weekend so he'll be SOL. D:

My costume is finished though! I'm packing them both up right now and then I'll be working on my shadow plushie! x3

I'm all ready to go. I am going to get a good nights sleep and hope that my voice starts to come back. At least I am not fully sick anymore, just recovering.

Like I told somebody else who's recovering from an illness.. and I think I mentioned to you in another thread.. if you've got $5 to spare, hit up a rite-aid and pick up some 'Airborne'.. they're tablets you drop in water, they dissolve, and you drink. They work incredibly well, so if you drank 2 of those tomorrow, and 1 Saturday morning, you'll most likely be entirely better by Saturday or Sunday.

Plus there's a $2 mail in rebate going on right now.

Oh, and the $5 pack is a tube of 10 tablets. Can save the rest for next time you catch a cold or something.

For the cost of airborne I can just drink some glasses of oj that we have at the house. All it is is vit C. I'm not sick anymore my body is just healing. I have medicine to make me breath and my throat was sore and now that it is healing I am losing my voice is all. I should be fine but whenever I talk a lot, say working at the service desk where you have to great customers, it tends to get very horse.

nikki: if its your throught get a stick of honey and suck on it. it soothes your throught very well, gets rid of cough, and can help recover a voice

Very likely true.. along with some herbal ingredients, but it's basically like drinking OJ and tea. Although, being that your throat is the issue, I'd be more likely to drink apple juice instead of OJ, since apple juice has basically the same amount of vitamin c, but without the citric acids that can sometimes damage a raw throat, and slow down the healing process.

Err... @Nikkie: Throat lozenges. Those ones that come in the cardboard packets wrapped in paper at New Seasons or Whole Foods? They work wonders.

Yeah, I just cut out all new fabric and magically sewed the skirt... But it's 11:20pm and my brother has been asleep since 9... I don't know if I want to risk more sewing and maybe wake him up. D8 And I leave right after school tomorrow and have no sewing machine to take to con with me. >.< I really don't want to handsew this...thing... [/don't know what to call it]

I can't... My mother won't let me... Oh well... It's one sheet of fabric so it's not too bad... Just have to pray it won't fringe too much. I'll add on what I need to by hand but I would probably do it that way anyways just to make sure I don't screw up... D8

Oh well, I'm still getting ready... it's just like, one small accessory though that is 90% done and would be finished in 15 minutes if I just sat down and did it. Apparently after weeks of constantly working on cosplay I've finally ran outta steam.

And I kinda can't believe kcon is tomorrow. It's like, you look forward to something for sooooo long it seems like that's all it is. Oh my gosh I'm having "feels like it was just the other day" flashbacks to last year's Kumoricon too, haha!

M'all nostalgic, must be a sign that I'm getting old. =P

XD last year my friend and I got there like an hour before the con started. We were like....the only cosplayers standing on the block. My mom was like ".....I'm leaving now guys." It was awesome.

I'll be leaving my house around 8, so I'll probably get there around 8:30. I'm so excited! ^^ Been waiting all week. =D

yeah. ^^ Registration opens at 6 tomorrow, and goes through 7 and night. There will be two lines, one for pre-reg, and one for registering. If you pre-reg, get in the pre-reg line. Make sure you have your badge with you though. =D Also your ID, and parent permission form, if you need that. -w-
