Ok, a new topic.

I've made this topic on a few forums I have been on, and it seems to be succesful.

Basicly, you just say what music you're listening to. It helps to show everyones interest in music.

I love music, personally, and it will always be a part of my life.

So, I will start it off.

Hikaru Utada - First Love. Had to get it after watching Majo no Jouken (Which was AWESOME!)

Well, as of right now while I'm typing this, I'm listening to Michelle Branch's "If Only She Knew". I have a weird range of music interests so the next time I post here it'll probably be something really different.

right this second i am listening to Gackt's song oasis from "the sixth day" i started listening to j-rock someone lent me her l'arc~ciel cd and she has created a really big fan so right now i'm in the middle of a j-rock trip so next time i'll still be listening to j-rock

Oasis is also the ending theme for Shin Hokuto no Ken (New Fist of The North Star), while Gackt's Luna is the opening theme. Gackt also provides a voice for the anime. The original Hokuto no Ken (Fist of The North Star) is Gackt's favorite anime. Fun with knowledge.

She's reasonably new in Japan. Has anyone here seen the "Bleach" anime? She does the ending theme, "Life is Like a Boat."

Yes, it is.

For some reason, I can't stand that song though.

The second ending I like better ("Arigatou!" by Home Made Kazoku).

IMO, Prince of Tennis music is also very good.

Aikawa Nanase - No Future. Japanese Zoids Zero opening theme. The english version has no vocals.

For some reason, I can't stand that song though.

Yeah, her songs are a mix of English and Japanese. It's kinda impressive how she can switch from one language to the other in only a beat. "Life is Like a Boat" starts off with:
Nobody knows who I really am

I like it but it isn't my favorite on her CD. That goes to 2cm or Tsuki no ue

I was rather impressed, not many artist were able to speak that fluent when I heard it.

Say, how much does that CD cost in the US? They have it over here in two versions but the only difference is the Japanese version includes a booklet with the song translations. If it's cheap enough, I may hold off on buying it in Japan.

the American CD doesn't have the JP lyrics and a interview with Utada(in JP of course). the american verison is cheaper at about the normal price for a music CD($15 I believe). In my case, I got the JP version($30 X_X) as I got it before realizing there was a US release(but then I did get it a few weeks early though).

Do you know which episodes? I seem to remember it being a guy who sings at the end of Bleach episodes. Granted I don't listen to the whole thing (too busy plugging in the next episode at this point) but I could have sworn it was a guy.

I'm not sure but I think it's the first ending theme so at the beginning epiodes perhaps. I haven't been able to watch it that much.
