INO SKIRT IS ALMOST DONE. But I messed up and made the waist a bit too small so it's not perfect and that's depressing ;A;

I just placed my groups cyperous wig order now that I got the money.

Total for 7 wigs, 2 wig bases, a wig brush, and shipping: $583

Just need to go over that silver spot at the top with more paint. The other shoulder armor is in my kitchen drying and will not require as much work as this one did. I just need to weather it, spray it, and attach the ribbon. If I have enough time tomorrow I'm also going to attempt to have my belt mostly completed.

That wig seems most fitting for it. Though it may just be the wig in the picture but the ends look a little fried. And Shilo also doesn't have a layered look.

I really didn't notice how fried it looks, but a few of the pictures of Shilo show her hair, and it looks pretty fried.

The only other problem with the Willow, is it's expensive as all hell >>

It's neon pink because that was the color of clay that was on sale

Dadadadada double post!
My belt is now coated in Paper Mache. I now am going to get some spray paint and paint it, then do the detail (ish things) in acrylics.
On a week end related note, I have gotten myself some eyebrows for England. And I have a coolio suit for him as well. WIN

Waiting for me pink wig to get here. I would've made Meiko's whole Spice outfit last night, and/or finished my Ino cosplay but I couldn't and still can't find my dang measuring tape. Might also work on Shino hats this weekend.

And I'm biding my time for a cosworx sale so that I can order my Ino wig~

* 3* can't sleep, too excited for making crazy progress on my swords tomorrow/today~

Got all the way to final sanding on Sogyo no Kotowari (both of them), cut out the base bits for the tsubas, then realized that it was simply getting too dark and settled for making them later today (because it's like almost three in the morning and this sucks I've been up since midnight D:)

If I can get to the point of priming both swords today I will be a very, very happy Ukitake cosplayer. Because then I can totally paint them next weekend and if I do that in a very economic manner I could probably have them both finished by the end of the weekend. Then I could spend all my time working on other prop things!

Oh! And I finished the silver painting on my Sound Shackles ankle disks! I can totally paint the crosses black today and they'll be done and ready to mount when I get my shoes on Wednesday. Now to make the kneepads and other fiddly bits that I love so much yet hate with a horrid passion D:

Took a much needed trip to JoAnns today and got some nice dark grey fabric dye so that I can dye some fabric for the sleeves/torso of my Marie cosplay (I got tired of trying to find the right color grey in a fabric I actually liked) so I'm pretty excited about that. I also decided tomorrow would be a thrift store day so I can buy some of the odds and ends I need for my costumes. Hopefully my Marie wig will be coming in tomorrow, I'm anxious to see if it'll work okay or not. XD

I love Joann's with a fiery passion. Yesterday I got pink pleather for bunny!Kallen, offwhite/black flannel for Snorlax, yellow flannel for a Len banana, a mini iron, a bit of white fabric for various small details, and a lint roller <3

Progress? Almost done with Colleen's Sakura top, just need to add the zipper and white circle on the back. And I finished my Ino cosplay but I don't know if I like it so I might redo it all P:

Went to Joanns and found the most AMAZING cloth for Kaye's Lady Spartan ^^
I also got the rest of the stuff for Slave Leia and i'm going to start on the butt plates (lol) tonight ^^

In non-cosplay cosplay news (I'm making it on comission) I got the fingernails that I'm going to use as teeth for the Ichigo mask ^^ I'm going to get more Model Magic, attach, sand, and hopefully paint within the week ^^

So my to do list goes like this:
Shape the plates for Leia
Add 3D details
Paint
Seal and lacquer
Hem and Attach Red Cloths

Make Luca Arms
Make Luca Hand things
SHOES T^T (Try not to die while figuring out how to do these)

Re-make Shadow Link tunic
Work on Both Bracers
Find some bugs to paint

Make Lady Spartan Pants and Turtle Neck

I got my Kuja wig yesterday. When I get home this weekend I will get some feathers....may do that tonight if I get bored, and attach them to the wig. I got some dye but I am only going to do a little on the ends. I like the color quite a bit.

I love love love the style of it. There is just one little bit that sticks out a little too much...

Pretty wig is pretty, Nikki. Wish I could say the same about my freaking Ukitake wig.

:| the tag says white, but against my captain's haori it is most definitely bleach blond. I anger.

Shoes for Lenalee and Sheryl are great though.

:3 I know, I'm going to do that for Sakuracon. This costume is mostly together except my sandals haven't come yet and I haven't finished my released Sogyo no Kotowari. I'm gonna occasionally start coughing and spit fake blood when I'm wearing the costume at Sakuracon just for the heck of it. Also, I'm totally gonna put pockets in my undershirt and pull candy out of my sleeves.

* 3* Sogyo no Kotowari is mostly assembled and primed, so I can do the color painting tomorrow morning and then bind the handle and connect the two with the tags on the line and it's done! If I can finish on time (don't see why I wouldn't) I'll wear Ukitake to the Asian Celebration tomorrow. I don't have my sandals yet, but I'll find a pair of regular ones.

Had a cosplay day with my friend and got a lot of stuff done for my Marie (Soul Eater) cosplay. Finished the eyepatch, found my skirt that I honestly thought had been swallowed up by the black hole that is my room, and began working on forming the gold zig-zag for the skirt detailing. If I keep up the pace I should be done in about two weeks (would be done sooner but work/school dominate my life.)

Ritsu progress-

Almost done with the redo of her headband. Tanktop straps are done. Cut out the tank top but need to hem and resize a bit. The only other things I need to cut out are the frills and the pants. Oooh, and I need a zipper for the back of the tanktop~
