Soooo... I'm not able to fully start on my costumes because I'm trying to lose weight. Do you guys have any costume ideas that I can work on while I lose weight so I don't have to be stuck normal? :3

You could work on a Halloween costume >_>

So making a list of what is lefts left with trance:

Add red feathers to shirt
make the white shoulder part
I need to make the sleeves
need to make the skirt
need to make the leg wrap.
Remake the tail?

OMG IT'S WORKING HJIASDLAGDSFJOAGDSGSL

I still need to starch the pleats so they don't poof out so much but HOLY CRAP THIS FINALLY LOOKS DECENT. 4th time is a charm apparently. I think this will be done by tomorrow, just need to starch, put in the zipper, and add the waist band and clasp. Oh god, I am excited :>

I think that wig is pretty good looking, if you don't want to style it then buy that one. Any wig you do get for her would requite cutting and then you run the risk of ruining the wig >_>;

I think thats a good point, and that is why I am going to go for it! To Heckles with doing EVERYTHING
myself! I deserve to treat myself to a pre-made item now and then! woot!

I starched my pleats today! I didn't get much else done though, haha. I wanna finish the skirt tomorrow.

In other news, Mei Long and I want to do Gijinka versions of the main Digimon from season two now (my other friend named them Diginka). I started designing Veemon, I think it will be cute (And it would be the first time I'd be truely crossplaying. I'd do it for Veemon because I <3 him). I'm probably going to try to push cosplays out of the way now so I can make it sooner though D:

I added a cosplay to my list, I think I'll be doing Madam Red now for Sakuracon.

Yeppy, I got my xmas outfit for Zatsune Miku on it's way. My Ranka wig for Sakuracon. and my Zatsune Miku headset! ^^

Need to get her wig now so I'll have it in time for the xmas party. I just have to wait until my next paycheck. ^^: I already found where I want to get my Zatsune outfit from, and my Ranka boots and outfits and shoes, and my Anna outfit. I just need to loose a bit more weight so I can send proper measurments. Need to find someone to make my Zev Bellringer outfit and wig for Mewcon. And need to get a wig to bring to a saloon for Anna. But I already have my Tank Girl outfit for Mewcon and I can make my acctualy hair look like hers okay too. Hieda, for Kcon, is one I am having a problem with. Only outfit I seen done that is buyable was not made right, she has a shirt (forgot the proper name for it) and a vesty thing over it and the one I saw was all one top, not two pieces. and Myao (for Sakuracon) is hard to since the anime she is from is not popular.

Allen's jacket is taking longer than I thought...I am almost done with the collar part. Tomorrow, I'm gonna sew on the sleeves and make the bottom part. I'll post progress pics later...I also found a great wig for him. I'm gonnna get it in a few weeks.

Ordered my wig, belt, and shoes for Lammy tonight and ordered gloves for Cassandra.

I want to go to American Apparel tomorrow and get my shirt for Lammy but we will see how the day pans out~

Well, after spending waaay waay too much money on my Harley Quinn costume....

I did manage to buy 1 piece of my costume for Ritsuka! (not that it's even an important
piece...)

I managed to find a really good collar with an attachment for a chain, just need to find the
chain and then I can be kinda like... mid-battle ritsuka, I want my Soubi to be able to kinda
hold the chain for cute photo ops! (He already loves the choker!) ^_^

Well I just got scouted to be in a Gym Leader group from Pokemon for AX this next year so I've also got that to add to my plate now. Hmmm, I'm currently thinking about how to go about doing both the wig and her psychic channeling bracelet doohickies. The rest of the costume is cake but those are giving me some problems in my head.

Hair: You see, in game her hair is crazier looking (bottom picture). I'm not sure if I should go for a more natural looking style (which would just be easier imo) or try to get that CRAZY FLIP she has going.

Bracers: I think it would be COMPLETELY EXCELLENT AND AWESOME if my bracers lit up.....I just have no idea how to go about that. I know there's LED reflective tape and stuff...or maybe circuitry? I dunno. Has anyone worked with this stuff?

In more current cosplay news, I'm cleaning my house. Which means on Thursday I can start sewing again. I really hope to finish my skirt and start on my shirt. Maybe even start fixed my shield at this point. I'm also going to go to American Apparel after I get my wig so I can choose out a shirt.

Not too sure about the bracelet but I think the wig should look like the top picture. I think it looks really cool there as compared to the bottom one.

I just ordered my Silk Spectre II Gloves, and just need a little help with what latex to order and I'll be on my way with Silk!
I have my Luca wig and got my awesome hairdresser to cut it for me, and have the plans for the rest of her outfit drawn up!
so next years cosplays are probably at a 5% done right now

Got my Lammy wig today :DDDDDD I'm super excited, this is the first not blonde wig I've gotten in a very very long time. Also I put it on and got excited. I brushed it a moment ago and it doesn't look so messy~ Ha ha.

Recived my belt for Lammy! All I need is her shoes now. I'm going out to buy her shirt next week since I'll have the time after class (and I have a wig to match it now) I'm thinking about what I should do with the decal on her shirt, hand paint it or get it put on a shirt by a professional. I know there are some screen painting places that will just do one screen print without having you buy the whole screen but I'm not sure what place in Portland would do that. I'd like to wear the shirt for more then just cosplay so it's what I would rather do? If anyone has a place they'd recommend I'd appreciate it.

Also got the gloves I ordered for Cassandra... THEY DON'T WORK. Returning them this week sometime. I think I'm stuck with trying to sew my own pair of gloves now. This is gonna suuuuuuuck. Don't think I'm going to be able to finish Cassandra in time for Akicon (PUSHED BACK AGAIN WTF 3 CONS NOW) My new housing situation is proving to be....difficult. Looking for apartments right before a con with school and work is just not working for me D: I'm still going to be working on it, I hope to finish it before my school quarter is done so I can start work on Lady Ky over Christmas break :> For now I think I'll focus on Lammy and make Nightie Bridget before then too.

At joanns and Michaels, they have these special paper things that you can print a design on, then iron it onto a shirt. I used them for Rhyme's shirt design. You need an Inkjet printer though.

yesh, I looked at clip ons, but I'll have a wig and I'm kinda wanting to sew them straight onto
the wig mat for extra security... I guess I'm just gonna have to find some good material and
make them because all the ones you can buy are not the right shape/size...

mraw... I just want me some REALISTIC cat ears!

Allen is getting close to being done. Just gotta finish his Jacket (and wait for buttons to restock >.>), make the boots, and order the wig. Shion is also almost done. I ordered her wig last week so it should be here in the next few days 8D I'm really excited for it!

I was working on my Lammy costume on Friday. I'm almost done with painting the shirt and making the watch! I also finished painting my shoes. I'm hoping when I get home tonight I can finish those up after I do my homework. My mom also gave me $125 to go buy new pants so I can get a pair of jeans to match that costume as well.

I went to the Military Surplus and got myself about 80% of my N. Italy. The pants were too small though... but I can make it work!

As for me...I hope to start on Lust's dress today or Rin's (F/S N) Shirt.
I hope to maybe get my Duct Tape form done today, too so I can use an actual body instead of a table and guestimations.

Sally's under way : / The dress is going to be easy to sew but I have quiet the array of fabric here xD from burlap to cotton it appears to be in Sally's dress!
