@Nightlotus- Dyamn gurllllllll. Lookin' super fine.

I have to start working on MEWcon stuff myself now that Akicon is done. Just need to make a guitar and my new Bridget costume though. Ugh, drafting weird fitting patterns sucks. I might try to see if I can get someone to help me.

Yay Im gonna get my sewing machine back tomorrow! Gonna go shopping and start on my winter Miku outfit. then Im gonna get to Umineko Siesta ASAP. Im going to make a bow and arrow for Siesta 410! So I guess I can start on that now.... Oh and Trickster weapons too I want to make my sword and other equips to wear with the cosplay... Also I gotta make some BA bunny ears... XD

I sewed my Ma-san caplet!

It's so warm and soft, I love fleece <3 And I have a ton left, so I'm tempted to make my bloomers out of it, too.

And here's the new dynamite I made:

I couldn't find any wood that was the right size/shape, and I realized that a toilet paper roll was almost perfect! So I cut on down, and covered it in felt. Because it's covered in fabric, I can just sew it right onto the caplet.

I took some super crappy pics of me in my Ryoko Asakura and Nayuki Minase cosplay but they sucked too hard to be posted here. Hopefully I'll be able to get some nice pictures next weekend because both of those cosplay are done~

YEAH EVEN MORE MA-SAN PROGRESS!

A TERRIBLE picture of me, but I made the bloomers! The crotch is way too big, but I guess it'll be comfy? I also hemmed the capelet (I failed at ;-; ) and sewed on the ears.

The dynamite is just pinned on, and I don't know when I'll sew it on. Probably not until closer to MEWcon, since I like wearing this capelet around.

Hood with ears + dynamite = wtf

Now I need to make my dress. I need the fabric, and I'll be off! I cut out my pattern and it should work.

Kinda progress but kinda not? I started my Push ups & Sit ups routine last night after realizing I ate nothing but cookies all day (Had no school). So that motivated me to start working out. Plus, now I get off my bus at a further bus stop and have a longer distance to walk home. And I might star walking my dogs to get the mail and just go around the block to come back home. Kris is going to keep in shape without having PE this year. >.>

I finally started working on patterning my Organization XIII coat, which is pretty much the only thing I can work on at the moment. I ended up making a mock-up because it has so many weird seams.

I need to set up my new sewing center before I get to start on anything. I'm going to buy a table and some little plastic drawers this weekend.

Uhhh...I've dropped a lot of costumes for next year so I don't spend a crap ton of money. Not going to MEWcon anymore, only doing two new costumes for Sakuracon now (Unless I have the time to make PJ Bridget and Liesl), dropped Sabrina for AX and subbed in an easier costume.

Yeah.....I should probably cut more out.

Sage for double-post.

I just put together the wire innard frame for this giant bow. I have a pretty good idea of how I'm putting it on the skirt.

The best part? It's put together basically exactly the same way as the butterfly for my Maria! 12 gauge wire, a couple wire clamps, tied with twine and then covered with hot glue! gonna be win once I finish.

Also, I really wish the Casa Collection had zippers. Really. You can't dye polyester zippers so I had to find one that matched perfectly and it wasn't the easiest thing I've ever done D:

So apparently I only spent an hour on this Test meiko.
I made it out of extra blue fleece I had to test the pattern before I actually worked on the pleather XD
SO Here it is 8D It has gotta be the least amount of fabric I've worn for a cosplay ever XD
No zipper cause it's a test and yeah it's blue XD

I haven't even bought fabric for Bishop yet. I'm getting Sheryl and Tiedoll out of the way first, since Bishop's coat is pretty easy-seeming and won't need much beyond that and a nice pair of pants/shoes and a cane. Wig notwithstanding, of course. I'll order that when I get the wig for Tiedoll eventually.

Speaking of Sheryl, all the boning is into the corset and it's pretty finished beyond putting the fasteners on the front so I can tie it closed and getting the garter straps onto the front four boning channels (which I forgot to do, narg, when I was putting the channels in).

You might be able to paint it, if you got an ochre or even light brown. I've never worked with pleather before, so I don't know what would work.

Actually, it doesn't look shiny at all in the reference.

Yet it's not supposed to be yellow either. Since the regular Exorcist's uniforms are silver-based, the Generals are gold-based.

I was thinking about painting it, but at this point I'm thinking that just buying a yard of matte gold pleather off of eBay would be easier.

I've also heard about gel things/tape, does anyone know if that stuff works at all? This(http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z25/oslapedo/meikomagnet.jpg) is what I'm going for and this(http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z25/oslapedo/IMAG0073.jpg) is what I've got to work with.
