I'm ironing my Hinaichigo dress fabric as we speak~
I like how I keep working on costumes I don't need until way after Sakuracon.

Tomorrow I'll get stuff for Athena and Ma-san.

Yae is pretty much finished. Just some touches, like the datejime, maybe some more obi layers, the tabi socks, zori/geta sandles, and the wig. But the costume itself is pretty much done:

Attached the front straps for my Bridget dress, made the top pleats, and drafted out the cross last night. I'm hoping to start painting after my house wakes up! There's a good chance I'll be 100% done with it today

Alright! so my Alice lolita is unpicture worthy right now lol it's still missing the collar and half the apron. BUT in other very exciting news, I'm going to do my first ever crossplay >.> I hope it works out. I'm doing to be going as the 10th Doctor from Dr. Who.  I'm also making a Doctor Lolita because I'm crazy and my sister's making a Dalek lolita. Most of the preplanning and pattern finding is done, I just want to finish my Alice first.

This: is my little mermaid ending dress. I had it done for a little bit but no piccies. Also have the wig done. Don't know what shoes to wear with it because she is clearly barefoot. Other than that, that one's done!
Also worked on my Koga today. PVC was difficult to work with but not as hard as I thought. [heard from room: "son of a.....! Why won't you @#@$ to @#$# @%&& freakin' *%*#? ... .... ahh, that's better! Do what you're told... $^$**"]

Oh! maybe! but I havn't watched like any FMA and i usually do things from what I do watch! but sounds somewhat fun... but i'm still not used to having my belly showing! ;;>_>
Hopefully I can get the coat done in the next few days and I can have a preliminary shoot! ^^ (and look less slutty!)

I'm a little upset :\
I'm going to have to completely redo my Cassandra shirt and Belt. I guess the shirt isn't too bad, I was probably going to be redoing sometime anyways because I cut the facing wrong and used too thick of interfacing. But it's just annoying because I got it all done and the fabric is so god damn weak right now, it looks like it's going to rip at some seams and I'm not sure why. Like ridiculous seams, for instance the collar...WTF that crap is too loose for my neck. And I should have just put stuff down after that because I was really upset and ruined my belt. I think I'm going to calm down and just work on something small for now....

hey, don't be down, not only do you have plenty of time until the con, but you learn with everything you do! If nothing else take comfort in the fact that you do a great job, even moreso compared to ANYTHING I could make!

Double posting because I am so happy with my gorgeous skirt <3333

I basically had to take out all that I did yesterday because I ended up pleating it wrong and it kept falling out at the hem. But this time I figured it out, and everything turned out perfectly!
-Hem is even and doesn't roll over itself like most of my hems
-Waistband is seam-free and fits me, and was the first one I've done by myself
-Zipper is clean and is the first I've done by myself
-Pleats are (mostly) even
-Length isn't too short for me and isn't too long for the character <3
-Didn't use any pattern/measurements

I'm seriously ready to go dance in the streets right now <3

oslapedo: Thank you! I know my measurements (sort of lol) and what I just do it cut stuff really big and then trim it down little by little until it looks right. I ended up cutting off like half of what I originally sewed onto the skirt because it would be way too big. I hate math and I'm lazy and my method works for me XD

Nikki: Dude I am so pumped for Scon now, I am going even if I have to walk there and sleep on the streets.

xD! i dont mind at all! i bought a fairy pattern : mcalls 5732 (in misses!) and used the longsleeved dress pattern. the dress was cut short to make it into a shirt instead ^^
