Actually I find it quite relaxing. Some people enjoy knitting, but that seems very tedious to me. Perhaps patience doesn't apply to things you enjoy (because I'm certainly not known for having a lot of patience).

I have found the exact components for my Naraku cosplay just have to get down to my goal weight or as close to it a month and a half before con and take the measurements and order.... may get the wig pieces earlier since I will have to do some assembling and styling.

@ Lin: Thank you! I was just going to go to Party City and see about getting a few Halloween blood capsules, since I have to go there and get a petticoat for my Sheryl Nome costume anyway. This might definitely be better, though.

I wasn't wearing the sandals in this, but I have them now and they're rather comfy for being made of woven straw. Still need to style the wig, but that's it.

@Richie- No prob! Your cosplay looks awesome by the way! Just wanted to let yah know since the bottled stuff is more realistic and a little bit goes a long way. Trust me on that I took an 8 ounce bottle to con last year and I bloodied about 15-20 people and still had like 3/4 of the bottle left!

FINALLY got a tuxedo for Tuxedo Mask. XD Now I'm going to start making the cape and buying the little things like the mask (duh), hat, gloves, and the wig.

Also~ I'll be getting a pattern for my Koffing kimono within the next few days. =) Finally starting to make progress. >.>;

I got the dye for my new Kuja wig today. I am working on dying it now. It should have a nice gradient to it when I am done. At least I hope so because I am out of dye now x.x

I want to fix the boots as well but I don't think I will get around to that before Sakuracon. I would need to get more craft foam and resin...though that wont cost a whole lot. Just need to find time to do it.

I am covered in Bondo. I just bondoed the fiddly foot bits for my sound shackles, and since they're so finnicky I had to do it with my fingers D:

First coat of Bondo is sanded, gonna put another layer on tomorrow and sand that and then paint and see about attaching them to the boots along with the toe caps. My reflective tape will be here by next weekend (but I won't be able to work on the boots then so I'll probably take in my uniform and see about working on Sheryl Nome's outfit) and when that gets put on the boots I can start work on the knee armor and hopefully have the whole shebang done before Sakuracon.

Finished Cencoroll cosplay. Honestly I dont find pleated skirts that hard to make. Just time consuming. Thank god for good will and there plain white shirts. XD

lol, oh I know! I found insanely hard to find a plain white long-sleeved shirt and black pleated skirt, and everyone told me to go to value village. I went there about 3 times and never found anything. I went to Goodwill and found both in about 5 minutes.

Foot spanglies are painted and I'm applying them to the shoes! If I get around to it tonight I'll finish the base for one kneepad and maybe start on another. Then I have two weeks to paper mache them, paint them, put a strap on the back of them and hope they're good-looking enough to keep the internet happy. I think they look kinda derpy at the moment D:

BUT SO YEAH SHOES.

34 days left until Sakuracon, let's hope I can get them done by then D:

Jack sparrows SCREEN ACCURATE REPLICATED frock coat should be done in a few weeks I just need to add the buttons Grrrrrr all 49 of them by hand but hey I did get the exact fabric used in the movie for the coat.... ohh and I still need to weather it too

Both boots are assembled and about as sturdy as rocks as long as I don't try to run in them. I now know the pain of every Vincent Valentine cosplayer in the history of ever, though.

D: I don't like how I look in my shorts though, and while I'm dieting to loose a few pounds before Sakuracon my thighs are still gonna look like crap. Perhaps pleather shorts are not for me and I should make the first uniform in a fit of sewing rage?

So I haven't been able to work on Cosplay for a few days because of this stupid paper I have to do for English. But after school tomorrow, I can start up again.

I'll have all the lining done in the PPGZ vests, And I'll have the top park of Seto's jacket done. I'll try to add the pointy sleeve's this weekend. I'll also be painting his arm bands.

Gotta get S-con cosplays done before I can even dream about k-con ones. @_@

Base dress for Chane just arrived today and it's even better than I could have hoped! Now I just need to change the hem so it lies where it's supposed to, and add the detailing along the top of the bust. I also need to get myself down to the store I'm planning on getting my gloves from and picking those up since I keep forgetting about them. XD
