I was digging through a box when I came across this sharpie dyed wig.... I experimented with dyes and It magically turned blond O_O... I was using a brown color.... O_O Im scared...

@ Magical wig undying~ If you take a sharpie-dyed wig, put it in a zippie bag thing with some 90% alcohol and shake it up then, theoretically, the sharpie dye should sort of wash out. I tried it on my orange experiment wig that I had sharpie dyed black and now it's a messy light brown color.

Maybe it works better when it's not black, hurrr. ~

Progress! I'm almost done with Yoko's top but I think I might make another one out of pleather. I really hate how pleather smells like butt though.

Here is what I have so far. I need to tighten the red top, make the other wing (the stuff is all cut out I just need to sew it together and add the wiring, paint the tights and wait till my wig gets here so I can add the small wings. The picture in the other post was the small ones

I'm actually wearing it right now, it's so warm and comfy~ Also the ears are done. I'll put 'em on clippies or a headband sometime.

@ Tofu, Not stuffing the arms means less work for me so I'm game, ahaha.

A lot of the characters I'm planning on cosplayinf have scarves as a part of their outfit so I think that the next time I get money I'm gonna get fabric for a bunch of cosplay scarves~~~

@Oslap- Gurrrrl you have a damn cute body. And the Snorlax costume hilarious. I think you should at least stuff the belly though so it poofs out in the front a bit more.

I need to work on stuff. I feel so unmotivated because I lost a piece of my belt though...

Dawww thanks! That's a pretty legit idea for making Snorlax look accurately large, it looks fat from the front but not really the side.~

If losing something for one cosplay demotivated you maybe you could eff it for now and work on another?

I can't work on anything till I get some more hot glue sticks. Oooh, and I'm ordering my Yoko wig on Friday! So excited ~

Wait, tas, were you the Jack Sparrow in Cosplay Chess at Sakuracon? The Main Game king?

So yeah, I'm all set on things to fix from Sakuracon. Gonna make my Sogyo no Kotowari more accurate and maybe make new (less fragile) tags for the rope between the swords. Gotta fix my Dark Boots because I tripped up a flight of stairs while wearing them on Saturday and popped one toe cap off and broke one of the hoops on the opposite boot.

Trying to decide what I want to make to bring to Kumoricon. The Crazy Bone half of Katen Kyokotsu, or finish Sheryl Nome (that I have to do D:), or do the Music Meister outfit I've been meaning to do, or what D:

Also, my sanity be damned, I need a Kiyone and Sentaro for Kumoricon because I am so totally bringing Ukitake. A Kaien would be fine too, and I'm probably gonna be collecting Rukias and Toushiros.

(please excuse my ugly face and horrible acne. I just got up, and didn't feel like putting make up, or clothes, on before I styled my wig :3)

I've had to shove a shower cap on to the spiked part, and wash the back of the wig >.e

Let gravity do the talking. Pin the wig to the wig head and then duct tape it to the wall before styling it the way you want it.

No, I'm superserial. Let gravity keep the spikes from drooping, and then set them so hard that not even poking them will get them to move. Then your wig won't droop when you turn it right-side up again.

I decided I would fix up/re do my Nono cosplay (Diebuster) cause when I first did it it looked soooo crappeh and now that I have a wig I have good reason to fix it. Also because I dont have to go out and buy extra supplies XD

My boots are ALMOST done and they look saowiuevbaoyncsitalh jgrch galsekjthz (oh words cannot describe) ;w; amazing compared to the fugly boot covers they used to be -pics to be posted later-

:D I really, really love dressing up as him. It's just sorta impulse to make bits and pieces like this. I still gotta put some black paint in the '13' kanji and the Summer Snowflake design, but I gotta let the spraypaint dry first D:

I also gotta make a strap for it but I've got material left from my Captain's haori that I can make that out of :D
