I got my Tsubaki dress done, found some boots to edit to make look like hers, have the little arm warmers done, got my wig (I'm fixing it up right now and trying to figure out how to make a giant pony tail stay up..) and I spray painted my chain thing for her weapon thing. Also I have the rest of the materials for the weapons.

Got my new contacts, a little closer the the golden/brown color I was looking for but not quite what I was expecting.... They fit really well though so I can't complain.

Just ordered a wooden katana to refit into the sealed form of Sogyo no Kotowari. I'm considering bringing my shikai swords with me, but they take up space and are kinda unwieldy.

Finally got around to starting my blazer, tonight. Got a good portion of it done. I need to add the collar and sleeves, then do the one-winged eagle emblem and purple trim. Then I'm pretty much done with Jessica, aside from the shoes. Ahh shoes...I need to find shoes for nearly every costume I'm bringing to K-con orz.

And the Barrel of the gun is cut out 8D;; That is gunna be made out of wood

Sorry I never posted my pics, but I think Katie and I were going to keep the DWC work somewhat secret, until either right before the con, or at the con. sorry guys xD But I did get some work on Death the Girl's skateboard done. I sanded the bottom of the skateboard, which took forever, and got the first layer of paint on, before my paint can decided to stop spraying xD

No they don't. They shipped my sister's wig out 2 and a half weeks after we ordered it. D:

I've had wigs that have taken months to arrive >>

Trufax, when I ordered my wig for Ukitake it took I think over a month to get to me. That was two weeks to process my order, another week and a half or so to get a shipping confirmation and tracking number, and then like five days to get to me.

I could have ordered something from a store in China and it would have gotten to me by the time I got a notification that my order had been processed.

If you bought it before they closed doors, by all means they will have shipped it. There's no good business sense in them not shipping it.

When did you buy it? It takes two weeks exactly for a wig to get to the west coast from China.

The skateboard is almost done~ I still need to do touch ups where the paint chipped and went out of the stencil, and paint on the eyes and noses. went from a spiderman skateboard to a Death the Kid skateboard xD

My back hurts. I just cut out like 24 feet of satin bias tape so I could put bias on my cloak. Still gotta get a little bit more of the curl out of my wig, but that shouldn't be the hardest thing I've ever had to do.

Then I gotta put the braids in it :3 that should be the funnest part of making this whole outfit. Well no that's the copious amount of grommeting but whatevs.
