Don't think I've updated in awhile , so here it is .

I have just about 10 wigs to style before con gets here , and two (possibly three) outfits to make . Luckily two out of my four cosplays are done , and the wigs are just about styled , although Alois is giving me a little trouble . And I've finally got my fabric and patterns , for Alois . So I can finish his outfit up . Just Young Gilbert Nightray is left !

Unluckily , I've been the wig and prop girl for my group since I'm the Leader(apparently that makes sense ?) . So I have one pair of headphones to make , another to finish up , and I have to style everyone wigs . My friend just handed me his Soul Evans wig , so I've been working on that for around 6 hours and am 2/4ths of the way done when I have two other wigs sitting here to be styled as well . (But very little , THANK GOD .) And I still have yet to style my Miku wig , and the Kagamine twins wig . I don't know if I have to style my friends MASSIVE black wig that goes to the back of her knees and I don't think my other wig will arrive on time . So this is on my plate .

Did I mention I JUST started styling wigs , and this is my first year of 100% cosplay ? 8D

Tried styling my Makoto wig a few nights ago (Left) which went ugly and terribly. Decided to wash it out and try again. I'm thinking it's looking quiet a bit better. Still gonna work on the bangs, Mei Long's gonna help me with that.

Got the first layer of paint done on my shoes for Marie and Miaka.... planning on letting it dry and putting another layer on tomorrow morning before work. Feels good to be making some sort of progress. =]

My new Sweeney shirt has gotten here despite some troubles first time around, so that's good to go! Now I need to dull the pinstripes color-wise on my new pants, and do a bit of wig re-styling. Then I'm good to go!

I actually got it commissioned. :3 But Alois's vest doesn't look anything like Sweeney's. Isn't it just a green vest? (Is enjoying watching Kuroshitsuji 2)

Actually, Alois's vest looks just like Grell's but green *hopes to cosplay Grell one day*. Have you tried looking on eBay or cosplay sites that might sell the whole costume?

Yeah, ebay has two versions of it, but in my opinion, they both kind of suck -Shot'd-
One of them is pretty good, but it's likeee, 145 dollars, so I dunno, haha.

Today I went with Haley and got a TON of stuff done. I ordered:

-Rockinghorse shoes for Meiko
-Wristband, armwarmer, belts, and choker for Roxy
-Blazer for Anri

and then when we went out I bought:

-More fabric for Meiko
-Glasses for Anri

And here are the glasses!



They aren't perfectly round like Anri's, but the other cosplays I've seen of her with perfectly round glasses tend to look weird. So hopefully these look more realistic. They were a dollar so I figured I might as well get them.

TODAY HAS BEEN GREAT FOR PROGRESS
Me and Sahara went to Goodwill earlier, and now I'm almost done with Alois.

I got~

* A green striped vest that is pretty good, but I still need to add some details, make it more green, and take it in a bit.
* Long brown boots that need a bit of tweaking, but are practically perfect.
* A white button up shirt hurdur

So all I really need is to fix some stuff, and get the purple coat if I can find it.
He doesn't always wear it though, so it's not a hugeeee deal or anything.

I'm done with one of Sister Finland's stockings, her hat, her shoes, and her dress. I also finished my friend's Australia shirt.
I'm working on the sweatshirt right now (I had to take it in about ten inches on both sides) sewing on the cross. I'm slowly getting the other stocking done, but what do you expect with size 2 needles. I need to either buy or knit garters as well. I have my work cut out for me...

Sheryl's skirt is done and I just need to get a petticoat and finish the top to be done. Sogyo no Kotowari looks positively beautiful too and I can't wait to get the tsuka-Ito in the correct color to make it look even better!

Over the next two weeks I'll be making the last 40 arrows for Vaclav, which ought to be fun. Not. Someone shoot me or hire me a slave so I don't have to do this all myself D:

So I'm about half done with everything except Rika, which is done, and Craig which just needs me to fix the collar.

It's just a crappy cell phone picture, but hey, it has my glorious wonderful Vanille wig in it, and a bit of the TARDIS on my shirt, so the world is good. xD

The wig that I got was surprisingly affordable (it was like twenty bucks... so cheap for a wig!), but it's super super nice and it's really soft and pretty and the colour is 100% perfect and it's comfortable. It was a bit way too long when I got it, and the pigtails were misplaced, but I fixed it and now it is perfect and lovely.

Just finished hemming Kida's jacket and making the bandana. Now for him all I have to do is style the wig.

And I finished sewing on the sleeve straps for Kaito's shirt. I started the main straps, but I need like another yard or so of strap stuff. So, yet another joanns trip is in order this weekend >_>
