I can't do anything more with mine until I get paint... and I have to wait till the 22nd to use my SIX Michaels coupons... I have so many Micheals bags on the floor from various trips due to printing coupons, last sundays coupons, and getting coupons with purchases, and having my dad come in and use one so I can use the other, bwahahahaaa~

So I put some focus on helping my friend out with hers. I FINALLY got her stubborn wig done!!!!!

I don't feel special enough to post after that picture...
But I finally got around to making my pants for Sasuko.
I need to make the shirt shorter cause right now it doesn't fit in my pants without making unneeded bumps here and there...

I also toss the black cloth I was using as wrap and I'm sticking with a black strapless now. Better support for myself and less chance of perverts ripping it off.

Nice progress everyone!

Today I got a lot of stuff done on DWC- I finished the bloomers (added a waistband for length and finished the leg cuffs), fixed the zipper of the dress, and re-hemmed the dress (oh man it's so short now lolol).
And apparently my wig, according to DHL, will be here in "24 to 48 hours." I'm so excited!

YES!!! My friend was successful my wig can now fit my large head and now all i have to do is get a extra shirt, and trousers, and some shoes and my Henry Townsend costume will be ready. Once again life is good.

OFFICIAL FREAKOUT MODE!!

15 days and I still have alot to do!
Finishing Kamina's cape today. Still have to make his pants and style the wig... once it gets here. Still haven't figured out tattoos -Sharpie? Face paint? Ideas?
Nia's Sewing is all done, all that's left is the jewlery (which is already half done) getting the resin today.
Simon's goggles need to be done. Getting those today too (hopefuly!)
My Yoko boots have yet to come in... I'm kinda worried... I have to get a belt buckle still along with adding studs to the belt. And I have to do her bracelets then I'm done!

Gosh I'm afraid! *Dies*

BTW Everyone's stuff looks really good.

I'm pretty sure you can get make your own temporary tattoos at craft stores. I'm in Eugene and I know they have something like that at Michael's Craft store by Gateway Mall.

EPIC SUCCESS!!! My Henry Townsend costume is complete! I just got the shoes and some faded jeans to go with it, It's granted not entirely accurate but it's pretty close I think. I got the wig to match my big head, and I got an axe to go with it. And Kumoricon staff don't worry this axe is entirely made of soft plastic. Life is good!!!

XD Thanks! I'll post pictures of our jackets once I'm done with them! You'll probably notice that our cosplays are different because the blue is a bit darker than the usual military outfits.

The pants and hip cape yeah. And jacket when I make it. :3 The only things not handmade are going to be the undershirt, boots, toy gun, and barette. I'm going to try to do my real hair, but if it doesn't get the right color (I dye my hair too much) then I'll use a wig I already have. The pants took quite a bit of time (about 4-5 days) but I was making two pairs, and the hip cape only took about a day and a half to draft pattern and then finish by sewing to pants. I've been sewing since I was little. XD

Edit: Also, if you can't find any good knives at Party City some malls have Halloween stores already and you can always try the boys section of Toys R Us or toy and hobby stores.

Haha well I've always wanted RHS anyways, since I first got into lolita. DWC was a good excuse to get a pair. I ordered them from Bodyline, so I'll write a review for egl soon.
