Working on Yoko and Envy today, I want to get some hardcore sewing done but I can't figure out how to thread my machine so I'm working on props and accesories until I feel like giving it another go.

Well, I was working on my Hawkeye jacket today... and ended up sewing the collar on upside down. And it was a real pain in the butt to get on there in the first place. So now I have to take it off and wrestle with it again. Otherwise, still have to put the cuffs on the sleeves and the sleeves on the main piece after the collar gets fixed, then trim all the way around and pressing. Then I have to make Mustang's waist cape and HIS JACKET. And do all the details. In one week.... I'LL STAY UP ALL NIGHT EVERY NIGHT IF I HAVE TO!!!

almost done with 1 of 2 shoe covers for sora's rikku cosplay :3 i also got her pockets added to her organization 13 robe

i attempted to sew on my zipper for my organization 13 robe and it messed up as I sas sewing >.< and air bubble or something made it look stupid after i got it off the machine. I ripped out the zipper and am gonna attempt it again tomorrow before I go to work

Alrighty update time!!

Yoko: 95% - Still need studs, bracelets and a buckle. My boots are in the mail! Yay!! =D
Simon: 100% - Buckle, bandages and glasses. This is all up to him now, my parts done!! =D
Nia: 80% - Top needs the "wings" extended, jewelry needs to be complete, I need an oval resin mold...
Kamina: 95% - Cape needs another attacher thing, and to be burnt. Pants need to be hemmed and the red stripes, need glasses (maybe) and to finish eyelets in the belt.

Mion: 80% - Still need a vest and a tie. I might not wear her, unless it's too cold for Yoko.
Sheryl: 100% - The wig, socks, shoes, and gloves are all up to the wearer. (I do love this costume though~)

And that's it! 9 days! It's crunch time baby!!

Ok. So this is what I've got to do:
Attach snaps so collar stays on Fuku
Attach glove tops
Paint and attach second crisis brooch
Make hair wefts (not looking forward to this one)
Finish wig
Make wand
Make and attach boot stripe and crescent moon shapes to boots
Make back bow.
Attach back bow with hook and eye fasteners
Finish Russia's scarf
Make bun covers and paint them
Make Raven's gems (take three at attempts at this)

It seems like a lot, but truth be told I've made a lot of progress. I'll be working until the very end, but I think I can finish everything up. Thank god I'm taking a half day at work on Tuesday.

I have two cosplays to finish that are both about 50% done . I'm not sure on finishing Alois yet , because I still have to finish up my main/favorite cosplay this year which is Young Gilbert Nightray .. Mrn .

Does anyone know an easy way of making a Sailor type shirt ? I have really no clue ... D:

Alois :
Make vest .
Make Jacket .
Get ribbon for boots .

Gilbert :
Make shirt .
Edit pants .
Remember how to put in contacts .

Haruhi and 'Don't say "lazy"'!Mio are done, thankfully~ For 'NO, Thank You!!'!Mio, all I need is a light lavender sweatshirt with a hoodie. I've searched all the Goodwills in the area, along with Value Village and Fred Meyer's, but no luck. Any ideas where I could find one? As far as my Alice (Pandora Hearts) cosplay goes... can't figure out how to make the lace-like triangles on the cuffs, and there is also the checkerboard. UGH. Stressful last week, here I come!

Telma is finishedededed. Though, I have a dilemma. I didn't bother to do the design on the back. Long story, I fail. The costume as is, looks nice without it, but I'm perseverating over this one thing and I know there are going to be people who are like ZOMG, your back is WRONG!! So, people, give me your opinion. Shall I leave it as is, and accept the work I've done? Or try to do the design and risk screwing it up in pursuit of perfection? Please halp me!

Do it carefully on something else first, then if it turned out well there do it on the coat. You have enough time, I think, to do that.

Well, I think the easiest way to go (ie, not embroidery, lol) would be to get a purple fabric marker (paint or ink) and just draw it, but lightly draw it with pencil or disappearing marker first. I dunno if you can find a better reference pic, but that's what I would do. ^_^

@Shay - Gosh I love your wig. And I like the eyeliner I think there may be too much shimmery stuff though.

Any tips for Yoko's make-up (Never wears make-up, unless on stage, so doesn't really know where to start). I was gonna do painted eyebrows though. Thoughts?

And for Yoko's make-up, lesse here.
I always always recommend fake lashes for girl characters, because they really make the eyes pop.
I don't have any on in my picture, but meep does, and they look goood~
Then maybe a little eyeliner in the corner of your eye, but not all-over...
Erm, I'm not making sense.... xDD

Oh, and the eyebrows!
I guess it depends on how you do it. :'x
I never paint my eyebrows, but some people can pull it off~ o u o

For yoko keep it simple. Probably go for eyeliner and mascara. Try to make it look more coolio instead of "girly"
cause Yoko isnt like that XDDD
Fake lashes always work great.

Also on a side note: SHOULD I PAINT MY EYEBROWS FOR MIKI?

Finished Kaito's shirt and cut the wig today~ We didn't get far enough to get the preview pictures though. All I have left for Kaito is all the wig accessory things, punch holes in the straps, buy the make up, practice it, and make the leg straps.

Tonight I'm working on commissions, and tomorrow, I am hoping to start Sakutaro and get close to finishing it.

Alright. My Hawkeye jacket is almost done. All I have to do is the hooks and eyes to keep it closed, the pins on the collar, and the ropes around the shoulder. I'm not going to do the pins or ropes until I do the other jacket though. Giving my fingers a rest because I can barely pinch the thread at this point. XP Tomorrow: Dad's birthday so I won't be able to work on stuff until late at night... I'll probably just draft the butt cape for my bf's pants, and probably the fly button and button hole for those too. I'll post pictures of the jacket too. It looks SOOOO good. <3 <3
