I'm probably just in a really good mood, but I feel like I can do this, oddly. After yesterday's meet-up, especially.

So therefore I am adding Ventus to my list of cosplays. ♥ I got BBS a few months ago, and I love it to death, and I'd feel really bad if I didn't participate in KH cosplay this year. Besides, Roxas was my favorite KH character...and now, I'm pretty sure Ventus is.

So I'd love to make and run around as him.

I'm glad you think so. ^_^ His jacket is totally scaring me right now, but it can't be that bad, I'm sure...despite the fact that I don't have a sewing machine. I'll freak out about the tiny bits later. XD

Since I just decided this, my FF cosplay is kind of...before Ven on my to-do list? But I'm going to try to work on them fairly simultaneously. I'll probably be able to purchase the wig I'm trying to get now and Ventus's by mid-June, if I play my cards right. \o/ Despite no source of income, I'm pretty crafty.

Kaite: Me too! Namine is the first one I want to get the wig for. Im going to talk to my dad about getting the wigs soon, if I work off cleaning my bathroom and doing Dishes every weekend Im with him. Ryan has a wig Im barrowing for both Pichu and Pikachu (makes sence you know) and Umbreon is only other one I need a wig for right now.

I'm in an artsy mood right now...sketching designs and writing out all my to-dos, getting some already-purchased supplies together, and such. I think doing a prop this year would be really cool... I was thinking about making/getting a keyblade, too, for Ventus. But I don't know anything about crafting such a thing, but I'm looking through some tutorials. Do you think keyblades are expensive to make? :/

and yea i'd help! and it doesn't cost that much. the kairi blade costs about 40 or so in supplies and stuff, and u just have to make it lol
and a regular kingdom key is not that hard either. (way easier than kairi's lol) but um i would get his breeze keyblade ~fresh breeze~
it's one of the awesomest of the 3 in my opinion lol XD and it's SUPER SUPER easy! don't get scared about it! u just need a good tutorial, and a good master XD

Oh, wow! His keyblade actually looks a lot easier than what I had originally thought! Go me for playing BBS to the point of obsession and not even using Ven's original keyblade after the point of receiving his first alternate... :V

If I could find his keyblade/get it commissioned for around $50 or $60, I would probably buy that, but people...probably wouldn't do it for that little. XD

Where do you suppose I can find a "good master?" XD I don't think I...really know anyone who makes props, sadly. :/

And, thank you, again! ♥ That's so nice of you. I definitely won't be able to cut wood by myself (if it requires any kind of saw and/or electronic device), because I fear for my life. XD But, I'm scouting out wood as we speak, so~!

Also, do you think it'd be possible to actually make...a usable keyblade? Because if in any way possible, I think I'd actually like one to...fight with, as ridiculous as that may sound, seeing as probably nobody else who cosplays the series would want to risk their keyblade in battle. XD So I'd be alone. But still, if the opportunity presented itself, I'd be ready~!

LOLOL IF you want a fightable keyblade then i would work with a really strong piece of wood OR um i think i have to talk with my bf about this cuz he's the one who does the "fighting" with the keyblades. yea you'll be able to have epic fights with him lol not me cuz my keyblades are for show only >.< BUT my keyblade upstairs (if the keychain wasn't metal) i would def be able to have a light fight. no major blows.

and um i think it was vanitas lol yes. he's the one that does the crafting i believe ^_^

Isn't your boyfriend going to be Terra next year? :Vvv A Ventus and Terra fight would be so epic. ♥ A light fight would be fine...I mean, I'm sure I'd be gentle, anyways, since I have no idea how to fight. XD I'd be flailing, for the most part, unless I had, like, training sessions. XD Which is what it'll probably end up boiling down to, if I do end up getting a keyblade.

Alright, I'm going to try talking to a few people.

And getting wood. And drawing some things out.

Which keyblade do you have that you could use for "light fights?" ^_^

Thank you for the offer! I actually have a Roxas/Ven wig in mind (and it's only forty dollars, sdgjdsgsdg - to me, that's so good, because the Cloud wig I wanted to get was $155 ._.), but if that doesn't turn out, or I can find an excessively cheaper wig, I'd love to have you commission it for me.

That's really nice of you to offer~! I should probably know near the end of June if I'm getting it or not.

What I do, is I complete a whole cosplay. So I'll buy the wig, finish the cosplay, and then be done!
It's intense xD

So I have a Modern!Sora. I have yet to finish my KH1 Sora

Then on to Xaldin~
(And yes, mr. Content Roxas, I will pull him off xP)
Although Xaldin is 2nd priority to Michiru...

How much do you think you'd charge for a Roxas/Ventus wig? And would I give you the full amount and you buy the wig and then style it, or do I buy the wig and and give it to you then pay you to style it? XD

Depends what you want. I can do it either way. Labor cost for Roxas I said was about 15. And you could either buy the wig yourself, or I could find one. I really like Cosplay.com and getting my wigs there, for it's cheaper and I've always gotten really good wigs from people. For KHking, I searched on there, found a few that I liked and let him choose which one. His total comes out to be about 35-40. but yeah...We'll talk about it when the time comes ^^

And I didn't realize you were going til I looked at someone's pictures and I saw you ;A;

Yeah...Mainly I'll be stealing Doe's Axel wig and orgy coat and then having my super secret weapons of awesome with me, probably for a photoshoot and maybe just randomly walking around for a while...I'm gonna be doing one of Axel's other weapon designs from KH 358/2 days ^^

um the keyblade i'm using is the kingdom key. so yea ^_^ only light fights cuz it cost me $75 ._.
but yea it'd be fun if you and nick have an epic keyblade fight XD even if it's just a light one ^_^

@kristi: the only day u can't use the coat is the 1st day (my sister's using it lol) and of course like i said before at night *ravez >w<*
