All of my friends who cosplay, are girls (Maki being one of them), so no. And to make a good quality The Fury cosplay, you would need a good chunk of change and/or MAD fabrication skills. The other problem would be getting someone to cosplay as The End. Because how many cosplayers want to cosplay as an elderly man? And if you did find someone, you have to make them appear to be old: i.e. wrinkles, liver spots, the works.

Eva, I think it was, and he got all insanely jealous of anyone who tried to get near her and he'd shoot them with tranqs. And his eyes kept buldging every time he looked at her. Yeah they are! That Johnny's stuff is almost perfect, it is crazy. I'm totally using his shirt for reference since I can barely find any good shots of Johnny.

Yeah, I don't blame ya. I just bought the XM8 and a 1911 pistol for $30 shipped so I figure even if I only use them for molds and whatever I end up making doesn't come out as good I can always use them for shoots not actually *inside* the con. I know I'm going to want to do some shoots like the other folks who cosplay Meryl & Johnny have done. Should be very easy to do with the Hilton!

Also we definitely do need some more villians. I'll see if I can maybe round up anyone!

I know what you mean. I'm using a really good Sniper Wolf cosplayer as a reference as well, because I don't have many pictures to go by. <3

@Trumby yeah thats a good idea. I'm not sure how I'm going to make the weapons yet, But I'll probably just buy the scope for the one gun. I'm defiantly going to use her as a reference! I'm going to try to be as accurate as possible! also there shirts are really good looking, I need to deiced what I want for the shoulder pad's. I have some small knee pad's that might work, but I'm not sure.

@makichan that's the same lady, I think, as the one who I'm using as my Meryl reference. dang she's good! :-X

Dose anyone know for sure if a PSP from Japan would work here? Most thing's Ive read say it's fine, but then how do you charge the battery? would you have to get a special cored then to charge it? I'm putting this up mainly to BUMP!  :)

No, my friend can get me a cheap PSP, and DS. So we were finding out if it's compatible with US stuff. 40$ for a DS, not sure what the PSP is yet. :)

The PSP is not a region-encoded system.  The plug for the charger on the PSP is identical, so worst case scenario you'd have to drop $10 on a new charger.

Yeah, you'd either have to buy a new AC adapter or just a US adapter for the Japanese plug.

Hey... you... yeah, you.
I've got cap guns... plenty of 'em. Some of them just need some spray paint, but I'm willing to part with them for practically nothing.
My cap guns include...
-Two snub nose revolvers, one made out of clear plastic, the other made out of metal.
-One regular revolver.
-Two clear plastic Uzis.
-One .45(?) handgun.
-And one full sized 9mm hand gun (non-cap gun)

They all ('cept the .45) pretty much need a paint job of some kind.

Ok, so me and Makichan were looking at this video, and we were thinking of doing MGS cosplay group to a song like this. Of course this is a ways away, but were wondering if people liked the idea? The song we were thinking was "get back" by ludicrous. If you like the idea, what other song's do you guy's think might fit MGS?  :)

I doubt anything we do will be that structured. More like hanging out, taking pictures and recording, then editing it to something. That sounds easier, amirite?

Oh my gosh, all this talk of weapons makes me wanna build one for Otacon. But of cooourse he doesn't use weapons...

Perhaps after I procure a job I'll have to funds to create the ever amusing MK II... that'd be awesome... and a shitton of work but I like challenging props. We'll see, we'll see.

Oh my gosh, all this talk of weapons makes me wanna build one for Otacon. But of cooourse he doesn't use weapons...

Perhaps after I procure a job I'll have to funds to create the ever amusing MK II... that'd be awesome... and a shitton of work but I like challenging props. We'll see, we'll see.

I wanna make a weapon, but I see no use for it, since Sunny doesn't need one.

No progress pictures as of yet, as I am still not sure what exactly I am going to do with them.

Also! I found this link on the cosplay.com MGS thread to MGS4 screenshots and it is totally a reference goldmine. The rat patrol pics start here and there's more on other pages further into the thread.
