^Surprisingly, nothing I have besides my asthma runs in my family.
So hypothyroid, brain tumor, stomach ulcers and all that jazz is all my doing. I still manage to lose weight though. >u>;
But then again....I rarely eat so that could help with my weight loss?

Yeah exactly that. It causes your metabolism to constantly burn so then the fat goes whoosh! from your body.

Lol wat? XD Well the sleeve will maybe work but the version of Neru your doing sort of wears a tunic with shorts underneath. XD

And for help wise, not quite yet. I have to go get some paint but then I'll need help.

Well I mean like...all I see in the pic is the bottom main to her outfit the sleeves and then some odd....whore top. With a gray apron, because her back is creepily bare. x D I thought I found her leg thing but...it went all McDurpaDurp on me. >u>;

ANYWAY....I found some extra black fabric for Neru! So I could possibly start the main costume and then after Kcon finnish it right away.

So, after scouring for hours for a decent alternate to Kiku, I want to be either let's be friends Luka or Magnet Luka, since those would be easiest to pull out of my closet (plus I have a dress that would be perfect for the Magnet cosplay, All I'd need is those butterfly headphones and blue tights :3 )

I got quite a few, but most people didn't know who I was.
I'm sure this year will be much much different since Vocaloid
is a lot more popular.

I was with the main vocaloid group most of the time so I did
get a lot of photo's when we did the shoots and such.

I'd love to see another one though, I've thinking of breaking
out mine this year.

I am giving up on all cosplays, so also on the vocaloid meet up group. I just feel odd being in a group of people I only new from text. I also feel I can not loose the weight to feel comfortable in 5 of the 10 characters I would want to cosplay. (only 3 of the 5 being vocaloids.) I really can not afford the costumes and wigs and stuff, seeing as I am going to NDK in Colorado the weekend right after Kumoricon and have yet to find any roommates for that con. (so going to freak out on the plane there and home.) None of my roommates for this con have paid for their parts yet so I am always scared they will ditch me like has happened to me in the past. And I need glasses (lost mine almost a year ago) and since it has been over 2 years I need a new eye check up too. and I need to get a new GPS still (have yet to replace the one that was stolen.) And I can not just make a cosplay myself because I have no talent in cosplay making. And, it be weird cosplaying since Scott isn't going to cosplay and he is the only person who will be at the con who I know irl a lot. (2 years of highschool face to face know him.) Not a big loose here though. 2 of the vocaloids I wanted to cosplay here already have someone doing them. ^^; and there are lots of people in the group.

You shouldn't have to worry about that. I've only met like....2-3 people in this group in real life. And you don't have to worry about weight. We all have out limitations.

Heyhey, I know exactly what you mean about weight issue
but that doesn't mean that you can't cosplay someone you like
because of that. You can modify their outfit or do a different version of them.
God knows the world has enough Vocaloid PV's.
Also, it's not a bad thing that someone else is doing the same person.
Having multiple people as one person is actually a good thing.

But.. I also understand the money issue.
Hopefully you can still make it, but let me know if
you are going to drop it completely - not that I want you too -
but you know, for the front page and such.

I know sugarlat, I think she's the only person I know other than my 2 friends who do Vocaloid cosplays.

You also gotta think, there's a lot of people that don't even bother with the forums, and just wear their costumes to con. We could have a lot more of everyone.

I really appreciate it Fate, but I found one at Michaels I've been lusting over. Luka is just a good excuse to get that and new shoes XD

Whoa, haven't been on this thread in a while...

I've decided not to do Rin and Gakuko this year. Two reasons: One, I'm too mature to pull off the cutesey, 13-year-old look; And second, Gakuko's hair and outfit... just no. D8 I'll still consider her sometime in the future when I'm able to earn enough money for the material, as well as develop my sewing skills.
So for now, I'm leaning towards a completely different alternative: Kikaito! I'm totally digging his piano scarf! x333 I already have a decent enough wig for him and for the outfit, I found one at a pretty cheap price; so it's looking good so far~

I bought my flower crown, and some cute casual sandals to wear for Just be Friends Luka. Just need the dress, and I'm thinking of putting on petti-coats to make it fluffier :3 I also want some bloomers if that's the case too, I've found they're your best friend in short dresses <3
