I'm about 90% done. My uber talented friend is making the vest and hair ribbon. I just ordered the wig which will be the longest I have ever worn at just over 48+ inches long. I'm going to need a ton of anti static and de-tangler spray!

Was wondering, how'd you put the lights in/what kinda lights did you use? :O

Finding the light strips was kind of an accident. I was in a store and came across these light strips by Niteize www.niteize.com The ones I used were called "Magic Marker" http://niteize.myshopify.com/collections/led/products/magic-marker and they are basically a small battery and circuit board attached to a flexable strip of clear silicon which the led light travels down.

To put them in the sleeves I sewed small pockets into the sleeves and made a slit for the clear silicone strip to pass through. I then made the sleeve panels out of smoked plexiglass and painted the notes on them and drilled small holes in the corners of those panels. I sewed the Niteize strips to the panels and the result is what you see.

So...It's an accidental experiment of the vocaloid kind, and the earphones are the same evolution of spare parts.

Arigatoo Gozaimasu! Thanks so much! I would love to see your headphones when you get them light up. You are right about the sleeves. It took me awhile to figure out how to make the lining so it was comfortable to wear.
The sleeves really were a puzzle. Took me forever to figure out how to make them (and I thought no problem, these will be easy......famous last words....10 days later)

Honto ni Arigatoo, Truely thank you. To be praised by fellow cosplayers is really special and I'm humbled. I don't think my costumes are all that polished and I'm still learning how to style wigs but I LOVE the cosplays that many of you have posted.
I saw quite a few wonderful vocaloids at Kumori and dearly wished my Haku was done but ended up wearing my Captain Tessa (full metal panic) and Father Nightroad (trinity blood)

We are trying to get a vocaloid group together for Sakura-con and of course all of you are invited if you can make it. I'm working on learning the dances that they want to do and hope to be able to be the older sister at con that Haku is.

Wish me luck, I'm going to need it.

Yeah we have a few park benches.  This one park (forget it's name) a little by Medford has a good spot actually a lot like that.  If not, truck stops usually have good park benches and we could just go to one of those.
