Imitation Black Kaito and Len are finished!!! Jeni is still working on Gaku cause she had to remake the slevees on the jacket she got. I also now have an entire box full of bows...and fluffy things for this cosplay.
I still have to decide if I wanna finish our headsets and Len's mic so we have more props...since they just need painted and stuff I might wait till next week when Jeni comes up.
Also Goodwill is awesome! I've been doing Goodwill cosplay for years - CoS Ed, Luneth from FF 3 or 4, various steampunk outfits, the headsets and mic for the 'loids this year, parts of my Hatter costume, my guitar case for IB, the list kinda goes on and on. If you know what you're looking for the thrift stores are your best friend. You can also now bring a donation to Value Village (at least the Tigard one) and they will give you a 20% off coupon. And if you are looking for just strange bits of you're not really sure what the Goodwill bins (in milwaukee and Hillsboro) sell stuff by the pound. The bins is where I found our headsets, a bunch of cool skeleton keys, a 1960's Marines long coat, a badge from a Nazi pith helmet, and tons of other cool stuff. You honesty never know what you'll find there but it might be exactly what you need!
