Patrick Swayze succumed to cancer at 57 R.I.P.

Patrick Swayze, actor family man, died of pancriatic cancer today he was 57,
know for such movies as point break, ghost, dirty dancing and I will always remember him from one of my favorite movies "to wong foo thansk for everything julie newmar"  and this snl skit

Tu Wong fu is definitely one of my favorite movies and I've enjoyed a lot of his work. He will be missed :'(

Dirty Dancing: Only film I ever saw at a drive in, still a personal favorite, I grew up going to Jewish resorts like the one in the film, oh and Jen Grey's mom in the film is the gramma from Gilmore Girls, which I love.
To Wong Foo: A personal fave of mine too. A bold choice on his part.
Donnie Darko: Few recall he was in it. A disturbing cult classic.
Point Break: Kinda silly but first time I heard the words "bodhi" and "Bodhisattva" (which I discussed in Religion in Anime & Manga" panel.

I heard about that it really stunk. I saw Patrick Swayze in Ghost years ago when I was in High School he was terrific in it and later to Two Wong Foo. A pity of such a great dancer, actor, and all around classy guy. It's a sad reminder that there's no such thing as a laughable form of cancer.
