Sorry for spamming this thread, but do any of you have an aspect of German history/culture that you find particularly interesting? I have to do a presentation in my German class and I'm feeling particularly uncreative today. It can be anything, really... I'm just looking for inspiration.

Anything, including present. One guy is doing a type of car. The other two topics I remember are Beethoven and Grimm's Fairy Tales, so the range of topics/time periods is very broad. I think the only requirements are that it must relate to Germany and I have to be able to talk about it in the past tense.

I'm going to teach this to a friend to see if it actually works as well as planned.

Might even be able to work in the Italy arm going through the space for the salute, but that's only a maybe. I wasn't even thinking of that when I made those in the first place. The Germany and Japan moves should be done facing each other, so that works out, and for America's move, both the moves that will be happening in front and behind will be facing away, so that's like the actual march too. The England move should be done with a purposeful glance behind, so as to tie in with the one behind it.

The last bit is just like the original march, but I've been toying with the idea of altering the last pose.

Canada's ahoge is a pretty complex piece of hair. You could maybe hairgel up something smaller and less curvy, but this probably wouldn't hold so well. Do you have someone that could help you?

I've seen some people use a piece of wire for the ahoge. You wouldn't have to glue anything, but you also wouldn't get to have a blond ahoge.

Actually, my Norway ahoge has wire in it. : D Just get a light colored wire, or paint a black one lighter. Also, hair GEL does not work in wigs. Only hair GLUE (since it's really just glue) and hairspray work. Some people do their curls with just hairspray, some with wire, some with glue. It's up to you really. You might be able to find a tutorial online too.

As far as hair curls go, I made mine using a combination of hair glue, hair spray, and dogged determination.

You could make a stencil and paint it on, or do the easier thing and use transfer paper to print out an image of a maple leaf and iron it on.

I finished Russia's scarf. I hand knit it myself, but that's not too impressive, I guess.
