But whilst we're on the subject of cosplaying characters that look similar to oneself, I'm just going to say I agree with him. It does come off more naturally, not to mention it's slightly cheaper. I did that this last Kumoricon: The only reason I straightened my hair and then curled the ends up again was to make in not poofy. XD It had been raining that day, so it totally would have jumped on the chance, even if I had doused my curly hair in hairspray. ><
I'm not picky about heights, though. As long as the costume is insanely awesome (as they are wont to be), I don't care if a girl my size cosplays Sweden. ='D
EDIT: Unless, of course, the girl has a C cup. Sweden with...nnn-no. Just...let's not. o.O;;
