I've really gotten into T.M.O.H.S and I've been watching the seires, but it turns out that it's disorganized and I'm watching episodes that are way beyond what I was watching. It's beginning to frustrate me and I need help in finding a place that doesn't have them out of order.

Please help I'm on the verge of tears from the frustration...

Technically that is how they are supposed to be watched.

Mmhmm- the directors had a lot of fun with doing that

SO DON'T FRET- you are actually watching them in order, even though they are out of order.

But if you really want to watch them in order (Chronologically at least):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Haruhi_Suzumiya_episodes

shows you how to watch it correctly (WARNING: do NOT read past the part where it says "2009 Version" otherwise you may spoil something)

Wow I didn't even know there was a series. Read the English translation of the novel (first novel?) and currently have the (1st?) manga out of the library but haven't yet read it. My fave fanfic of this year's contest was on The Melancholy, in the absence of which I wouldn't have started the series, so I recommend you search for The Melancholy fanfics online when you have time!

I liked Endless Eight... when watching it in marathon mode. (Though honestly that's 2 hours that would have been like hell a week at a time!)

Umm.. that's eight 25 minute episodes, try 3 hours and 20 minutes.  Yea it was a pain.  I like the shows following though.  "Mm.. MMMmm.. MIKIRO BEAM!"  ZAPPP!   :o    pounce  EeYAH!   Haruhi strikes again.   ;D

If endless eight had been cut down to maybe like 3 episodes it would have been a pretty cool concept.... but the idea of having to wait on a week by week basis to see the same episode that many times makes me wanna pull my hair out.

Thankfully the episodes were already all out when I watched them so I marathoned it, but even that way it just seemed to drag on for waaaaaaaaay to long.

You're assuming I watched the entire op, and non-obviously redundant parts each time.  I wasn't quite that patient.

Endless Eight killed the part of my heart that still loved TMoHS :D

I'll keep reading the novels though, anyone know when the second one comes out?

If you're viewing on TV, arrange some 'time-shifting' to allow you to marathon them (optionally skipping most of the middle eps).

SPOILERS!!!

It is eight episodes where the same events happen each day (like Groundhogs Day if I remember right)

Due to...well...watch it to figure out why and how it is solved.

But simply put

Eight episodes that are the EXACT same with small angle differences.

It's not so much angle as permutations.  Small subtle changes that at a glance you might not even notice.  Only Nagano would even have a hope of noticing; and even she might feel incredibly bored with it.

Also of note.  Season two has, so far, been running during the same span of time as season one.  It is, in short, filler episodes.  I find it fun because it gives you the background about Haruhi that you didn't get in season one.

SPOILER STUFF
While filming the movie for the school festival, Haruhi actually started to alter reality to fit her concept.  The Mikuru beam really worked,  The toy guns actually fired real bullets, Birds turned white, the cat actually talked, etc.  This is why at the end of the film Haruhi is the one reciting the disclaimer."This is a work of fiction, none of this is related to real people or events.. " yada yada.  And they asked her to read it twice.  Oh and the endless eight is a two week span of time at the end of Summer vacation.  Haruhi wants to have the perfect break and complete all of the stuff, she thinks, should be done.  Problem is, she is never satisfied, and they repeat it over and over, for 500 years.   ;D

Yes, the meta-plot of Endless Eight is definitely the part I liked about it.  The extra detail on elements in season 1 and ending to what seemed Endless are little bits of absolute joy that made it worth it for me.
