I went to the
Lane County Home Improvement Show today and saw this interesting three wheel electric car. Imagine my surprise when I found out it is actually being manufactured in Eugene! It definitely looks better than the Zap Truck I tried driving once before. They are expecting the cost to stay under $20,000. At a top speed of 55mph and a range of only 50 -100 miles it isn't for freeway driving, but it would definitely be worth looking into for a car to get you to work and back. Just plug it into a standard 110V outlet to charge it.
