Hi; my name is Jay. I'm a 42 year old male. Just got started here today. Found out about the convention from Beckett's Anime and Manga magazine I picked up at the local Ray's market in Creswell, where I live.

I am still reletively a newb. Have much anime yet to see. Netflix only goes so fast. But is faster than having to buy each disc.

I've been a member of the Anime News Network forums since March. And I actually haven't been this into anime until sometime last year. I have been aware of Japanese cartoons, before they were called anime over here, can you say Speed Racer on KPTV 12? Saw it while wating to be taped for a Ramblin' Rod show.

I hope to be able to make it up there for the convention. I would really like to do something like that. Now if I can just find a housesitter.

P.S. Cool, wasn't sure if I got my avatar right. And isn't he a handsome devil. Looks more like my grandfather than me. But My graying hair is getting there. Also I don't have glasses, let alone cybernetic implants.

When I was a kid, I suffered great asthma, and it was so bad that in the middle of the night, I had to go to the hospital so that I wouldn't suffocate... Eventually, they gave me a breathing machine, so that I can be able to get help with breathing at home.

My 5th grade teacher. Then it was my 7th grade math teacher. I think the 5th grade one was so much a hate, as it was the fashionable thing to do, everyone said they hated, but what for? The math teacher earned it. gave me my first F also.
