That's going to take some thinking. Warlords Battlecry was pretty new when I bought it, and it came out in 1998, but I think I bought Mario Kart 64 before then. However, I'm not really sure. I'm also trying to remember when I got Pokemon Blue, because it had to have been between 1999 and 2001, right around the same time when I remember buying MK64 and WBC. :/
I'm going to go with Mario Kart 64. I think that was the first game I ever wanted bad enough to actually pay money for it.

First time you can remember getting seriously hurt? (no scraped knees or bloody lips; I want broken bones and torn ligaments here!)

I had road rash all the way up my left side of my body along with a broken elbow and fractured skull. All in one go, I was riding my bike down a hill with a helmet on mind you, and a rock got caught in the spokes and.. Well, crash and burn.

The only thing I can think of is my friend has mentioned getting me a "Ravenclaw sweater" for X-Mas and if that's the case I promised to cosplay as Luna Lovegood when she does her Harry Potter cosplay at K-Con (likely the last day). Aside from that I can't think of any non-anime characters I've really wanted to cosplay...

Drawbacks to being Su's transformation:
The shoes, I absolutely hate flats, but I guess I'd have the ribbons to keep them on
The pink hair. I was Ichigo Mew Mew last year, and I dyed my hair pink. The dye lasted for a few months, and I had a hard time explaining to people who thought I was a punk kid, that I dyed my hair for cosplay, not to rebel.
Everything else about her costume is totally sweet.
