You need a certain type of wig fiber to dye, right? I would totally get that a white wig and that dye if you would help me, Nikki. Or Ren.

That wig looks amazing. The bangs look a little short, but I have a really small forehead so the wig would be lower on my face and would probably be fine.

Also, how decisions will go is whoever you are trying to get that other people want, those people will have a civil conversation to see if they can work things out. If a decision can't be decided we will then turn it to a group vote for those two people because that's the only fair way to decide anything.

I like this idea. usually it's hard for the people who want the character to see whether or not they would actually be able to manage it/pull it off.

Meanwhile, TODAY I saw a bunch of Durarara!! cosplayers on Cure!!! I have been looking ridiculously frequent for them to show up on there and then BAM - today!!! It was a pretty awesome surprise.

Also, I've decided against trying to decide between Namie and Celty. I don't want another wig that's just going to be used solely for one cosplay. There's a blond long haired character though that may show up in the show! I have a few pictures of her, I just have the slightest as to who she actually is. And you guys know how much I love my god damn blond wigs.

Unless someone would happen to have a long black wig I could barrow that looks like that and it isn't a stringy piece of crap.

So if things don't work out with Celty...COME TO ME BLOND GIRL.

You've probably already tried this... but I second Nikki's thought on clay. Only, don't make it like, a hollow dome shape - instead, create the entire buckle as a solid dome (carve in the ying yang piece too), almost like a semi-sphere, so that it has some strength behind it. Then finish the clay... however you do that. Honestly, I'm not too sure how to make clay look all smooth and awesome. Nikki probably would - she's worked with clay more than me.

And then you could attach it to your belt via a couple snaps that could be glued onto the belt and clay piece. That way you could remove it (to transport it separately, wrapped up all safe) and I think like, using a few snaps in various, multiple positions on the back of the clay piece would assure it lays flat against the belt.

I also think if making that slight curved shape it has (that allows it to sit along the belt) why not make it smaller than it’s already outrageous size so that it’s a little more manageable?

That's my idea on it... would take a good bit of fine tuning but it could work? =)

Meanwhile - For O. Chris I have the top shirt done thanks to Nikki’s cosplay weekend, his contacts (whoo-hoo reusing other cosplay accessories!), and I have what I'm going to use for the belt parts on his wristbands...

Still gotta sew the pants, find what I need for the shoes, buy the under shirt, a new belt (anyone got a brown or black belt they don't want?), make the necklace aaaaaaand decide if I can afford a wig this con or not. If I trim my hair the right way I could use it for both Chris and Czeslaw buuuuuut.. wigs are just so much nicer. =(

And that's where I am! 8D

Now that I think about it: Should I use a BROWN or BLACK belt for O. Chris? I’ve seen both in the game art.

Okay, I have good news and bad news.

Good news:
Rachel's mom booked our rooms for Sakuracon, and so it's 99% certain I'm going.

Bad news:
I'd be getting there on Friday evening, after the KoF shoot were we'd be all bloodied up.
However, I'm not certain of what time the photoshoot is or what time we'd get there. I assume we'd get to Seattle at around 7-9pm, since we have to leave after 5. The shoot is at 6, isn't it?

The main catch is you have to be willing be meet me somewhere near the MAX so I can get there.

So guys just watched the new episode of DRRR!! I suggest that we wait 'til the end of the series to chose characters. Because they haven't introduced a good chunk of characters and we are almost to 6, we'll also get to know everyone better in the series.
