@Cassiopeia: I kept an eye out for you, but I never saw you. Sorry! D'x
I absolutely loved it! There was music from both my generation and my father's, so he enjoyed it, too, after thinking he would loathe it. The Oregon Symphony was, as always, outstanding, along with the Youth Choir. The way that the videos were put to the music, along with the wonderful lighting made the entire room come alive; I felt as if I were in the video game themselves. Martin Leung was just as amazing in person, if not more, in his videos. The host, Tommy Tallarico, was a hilarious, outgoing kind of guy which made the experience even more enjoyable. The contestants in the contests were sort of, um... full of themselves. :/ But, over all it was one of the best events I have been to in a long time and hope to take some friends next time VGL comes to Portland. ^^
