A lot of series have really epic opening themes and videos. I want to know what you all think are some of the best ones.

2 of my current favorites, are actually very similar opening themes.

well, it is an anime forum for cosplayers, so most of them are going to post anime instead of old school cartoons. As for me, I did post a few, tho not many, cartoon openings, Gargoyles and one other.

well, when I say anime, I mean Japanese animation. When I say cartoons, it means western animation, that's how it's usually depicted. But ya, Lupin was pretty cool... Another few ones are:

I really love the opening theme for Burst Angel. Loosey by The Stripes.

Resonance from Soul Eater, anything from When They cry, and The Italian Yugioh GX opening are amazing as well.

That theme was so very sexy.

I'd also like to second Cowboy Bebop, Don't know how I forgot it.

I'd like to mention Neon Genesis Evangelion because their theme actually had lyrics that had to do with the show. Something that is kind of rare for anime as far as I can tell.

that song is so beautiful and creepy. it gives me chills every time, and i have watched the series over 30 times.

I can't believe I forgot ghost and the shell as well as cowboy bebop! That shiz is the mad notes!

I also should suggest The opening/closing to Samurai Champloo. Well really the whole soundtrack for that series is kicking.

Same here. Its not my favorite but I will always really enjoy it. The videos pretty cool for it as well.

i really like wind i was going to sing it for the talent part od the anime swim suit contest, but they couldn't get music off mp3 players. i don't know if been on here but i love sobakasu from kenshin, and ending of cowboy bebop

YES, that, along with Captain Planet are addicting (goes off to listen to the captain planet theme song)... But how about Transformers, that is one of the greatest theme songs of all time.

My friends call me captain planet at school because I constantly sing the theme song and quote the show. Along with also constantly complaining about people not recycling. XD
Man old school stuff is the best. Oh wait! I love tons of cartoon openings from the 90's! Like Ed, Edd, and Eddy, Danny Phantom, Fairly Odd parents, Rocket Power, Rosco's modern life and so on.

let's see, in my group of friends, we all took a role, I was earth because I was considered the black guy of the group for some reason, my friend Jared was fire, my friend Brandon was water, my large fat friend Kyle was wind, and my psychotic friend Caleb was given heart, and just out of no where, one us would yell our element and everyone else would then yell there's, and then my friend who we nicknamed planet would say captain planets biggest line... It was really funny.
