You don't actually know if you can go to this, because you missed a critical question.

What time is it?

Very small but it was nice, half new songs and half off the original album, nice little personal thing- I played Go against Aron before the concert and "won" (he had to do soundcheck) and we all got splattered with confetti as well.

Sorry about not posting the time earlier! I forgot to check "notify me of replies" to follow up.

But yes, it was an intimate setting, we didn't have a lot of time to get the word out. I think it was fun - the art exhibit was really cool, seeing them make a giant Sea Horse out of scrap bolts and parts was amazing.

I LOVED being able to try out our new confetti cannon. That part was amazing.

And being able to play some of our new material for people was cool too. We've been working really hard in the studio and haven't been playing out as much as we'd like.

Tony, what'd you think of the new songs?

Tony, what'd you think of the new songs?

They are really good, you can easily see the maturity of the band in the new songs.

I'm REALLY digging Slanted Heart and can't wait to hear the studio version of that,
How The Wicked Live is also really good as it has a decent amount of synthesizer action in it which gives a nice throwback to the Gaijin days. Every Chance I Get went through a lyric change which made me shake my head as I thought Aron was just making up stuff like he forgot the line or something, then I realized the lyrics made too much sense to be just a coverup. But the song structure is the same if not for a lack of keyboard action this time around, still good though.

Overall I think the new songs are really well done and if there is any tightening that needs to be done to them I can only hope it would improve them even more.

So I say this as a fan- NEW CD SOON PLEASE.

Thew new cd will be coming very soon indeed (and the album will feature more keyboard work than our live versions of those songs as well, they're just in still in the writing stage). Glad you enjoy!
