bad idea: cosplaying as someone every other person is probably going to cosplay as (Naruto, Bleach, Final Fantasy main characters)

good idea: cosplaying as either something original, barely done, or your own creation that people are going to want pics of.

bad idea: accidentally flinging a flaming marshmallow at someone and hitting them with said marshmallow while it's still on fire.

good idea: playing manopoly with your friends. (it's actually funny when I play against my brother and I beat him... He get's angry, and throws the piece, accusing me of cheating at the game)
