Hi all! I'm thinking about trying my hand and making things for people but I wanted to do some smaller things. I want to get the feel of it before I go and do something full blown.
So, I've been cosplaying for about 4 years now, and making props for three. I will do my best to make sure that whatever I make for you is as close as I can possibly get it to what you want.
- What are your props made out of? Most of my props consist of a cardboard or upholstery foam base that I cover in my own little paper mache recipe of straight glue and brown packing paper. I then either cover it in multiple layers of Gesso or Bondo and sand it down smooth, then paint it or whatever.
- How fragile are your props? Like any prop, you can't go over and wack someone over the head with it. But my style of making props makes them pretty sturdy, I've thrown my things around at con and they have been completely fine, minus some chipped paint.
- How long does it take you to make props? I'm currently in college right now so things can get a little hectic. The way I make props is a little time consuming as well so I require at least a month in advanced so I can make sure I can get it to you on time.
- How much do you charge? I require that I am paid a base fee of supplies up front, then depending on the size of what I'm doing I might require that you pay some labor fees up front as well. Since I use cheap materials though, don't expect your bill to be that high, I can make props out of as low as $20 for materials sometimes. But let me know what you want made and I can give you a quote.
- What else will you do besides props? I'm also open for doing accessories, painting and small costume pieces.
Some examples of my work (More pictures to come)
Bridget's cuff and May's anchor (My sister didn't want it gesso'd because she is silly which is why it looks lumpy)
Bridget's crosses and

I will not do swords. I believe that swords should be balanced and made out of wood and cardboard and paper just don't cut it to get that smooth. I also don't want to take on hard as hell props for my first time doing commissions.
So give me a chance
I'm sure you'll come out being more then happy. Ask for a quote~
I am currently
NOT OPEN for anymore commissions.
