I was just wondering, because last year there were lots, and there doesn't even seem to be a whisper of one this year...

If anyone is thinking of having one, I hope you do so, because I want to make a winter cosplay XP

And I wont be planning one on my own... I don't live in Portland, and the likely-ness that I wont be able to make it is considerably high thanks to the flipping pass.

So, post your ideas here!

Or, make a new thread, and post your ideas there, then send this to a moderator to be deleted!

I'm planning a sleep over type thing for close to winter break, give or take mom lets me have friends over.

I'm pretty sure there was like a secret santa gathering last year in December, I think.

I dunno about a secret santa thing.. but I'd definitely enjoy some sort of christmas cosplay gathering. Maybe at like Washington Square mall or something.. a public place so most people's parents should let them go. And we can all bring our PSPs and DSs and play games.. and for the people who have money, there's game stores there, so they could get their hands on multiplayer stuff like KH 358/2 Days, or Dissidia: FF, or Warriors Orochi 1 or 2 for PSP(good button mesher, hack-n-slash games.)

My only request is that someone else plan it, because there is a chance that I wont be able to make it through the pass.

I think here we're planning a more general gathering.. probably something not requiring cosplay.. or just minor cosplay references(i.e. full cosplay.. or like regular clothes, plus a naruto coat and headband.. or heck, even just a headband and gloves or something.)

More like a con-goer gathering rather than a cosplay gathering. Atleast, that's what I'd like to see. Plus if it happens in December, it'll most likely be really cold, and some people just might not be able to cosplay due weather, and like.. I may not be a girl, but I wouldn't wanna cosplay as Rikku when it's like 40 degrees out.

You don't need to be a chick, you just need chick hair, as per a wig. I met a girl at MEWcon last year who's a true Riku Fangirl. She squee'd when she saw someone's plushie of him. With the right stuff, I could pull together Riku possibly. Though my priority is finishing Super Saiyan 4 Goku at long last.

yes but...Roxas (and Riku) can hide things in their shirt-ness better. And it's hard to stuff random clothes into something yellow and small in two places...

but then there's this version:
