@Jaqua: Austria would of course be the woman. Why is this even a question? Hungary is by far one of the manliest characters in the series, right up there with Cuba and Turkey.

Don't worry about it xD Better to ask now and feel a little silly than to not ask and then not know where we're meeting and feel REALLY silly... Waterfront basically stretches all along the east edge of downtown, and if you're driving down Naito Parkway (the street just east of First) you're going to be right next to it. Also, Waterfront is right next to Saturday Market (which won't be running at the time, but in case you're familiar with where that is).
Actually, since Waterfront is pretty big, should we pick a more specific spot to meet? I'm going to suggest the Salmon St fountain since that's pretty iconic. (AKA, on Salmon and Naito, that big fountain that kids run through in the summer)

xDD Let me reword myself: Waterfront is on the east edge of the west side of the river. As far east as you can go without getting wet and/or falling 20 feet into the Willamette.

Well, using Jaqua's fabulous map, you can see that the Salmon Street Fountain is at the end of Salmon St on the river. The Hilton is on Salmon. If you know how to get to the Hilton, you can find Salmon and drive/walk down Salmon from 6th to Naito. On the other side of Naito Pkwy is waterfront, which is all big and green except for the parts with the fountain. Is that helpful at all? >>
