~Turkey Day Cosplay Nov. 28th~

Alrighty, this is going to be really fun if a lot of people sign up for this X3

What?: I guess you could call it anime(or manga) Thanksgiving
When?: Saturday, November 28th, 3:00pm to 7:00pm
Where?: My house in Newberg (I'll PM you my address if you're coming)

Why?: To celebrate Turkey day, and just for the hell of it because it sounds like a ton of fun!

Things we'll do include(but are not limited to):

• Dinner, of course ...let me know if you'd rather sit down together, or just have the food on the table and you can get it whenever
• Possibly a photoshoot if anyone is interested
     -Outside, as long as the weather isn't too bad (we live on seven acres of forset, so there're a lot off cool places for pictures)
     -Inside if it's the weather is really bad (our house has good places for pictures inside as well)
• Free play DDR (Dance Dance Revolution)
• DDR competition at 5:00 with PRIZES~! (1st place: Borders gift card, 2nd place: Ramune & Pocky, 3rd place: mustaches for every day of the week! 8D)
• I'm not sure what it will be yet, but there will probably be anime or a movie playing
• And of course we can all just hang out and be dorks! : D

Cosplay isn't required, but it's definitely perferred.
Also, you don't have to bring food, but I can't provide everything, so at least some people have to bring stuff.
I'll have a list who is bringing what once people start signing up, so please, make sure you aren't bringing the same thing as somebody else...
we don't want to end up with three pumpkin pies....

My dad and I might be able to make a trip downtown and pick up a few people if you can't find a ride :3

ahhhh...that's because only the 99W non-Tri-met bus goes there from Sherwood, and I'm not sure if it runs on Saturdays. Sad really. Trimet should make a Newberg line.

I checked on google maps where the place is and it's out in the country part of Newberg, just north of the high school. I'm noticing everyone else is having the same problem of the bus only stopping at Sherwood. Would a suggestion be to meet at the sherwood ice arena and go from there? Unless someone is driving there and has room and time to wait for the bus people. This way everyone can also come back the same way and snatch the 12, then go their separate ways home.

Yeah, it is out in the country and it looks like my dad and I might be driving out to Tigard, so we could probably make a stop in Sherwood too if that would be helpful :3

Langer is better, it's up by shari's and taco bell...and right by 99W. Does anyone have phone numbers to contact with? it's 3:00 now, and my ride'll be getting home by 3:30.

I got there late but my stay was enjoyable. A little food, a youtube quality murder scene, a little DDR and then pumpkin pie and pumpkin cake. It was a small bunch, but enough to want an encore.
