There wasn't a topic on this on the front page, mainly not for the forth one, but yeah. Chat!

Also, Star Ocean: TLH is making me shoot myself.

A Star Ocean topic? Awesome-

Number two is simply the best of the series, Three was good if not for an "Interesting" plot twist and an embarrassing moment involving the mistaken gender of a character (never play RPG's with the sound off). The newest one was...meh. But number two had pretty much everything altogether- good plot, interesting characters, love the Independent Action you can use in the towns, optional characters etc etc. Don't get me started on number two.

I'll try again when I get to the 360~

Faize left, pisses me off. They better not kill him off, or else.

I was depressed because the new one was only for 360 and sadly I could only afford a Ps3 alone, but it's re-releasing for the Ps3 :)

Not yet. I really want to play them! I just got a psp for christmas from my friend. The only other stations I have are gameboy, gamecube, and now that my room mate is here we have a ps2 and a DS. I also just found out about all the Star Ocean games. I would love to get more of them, but I don't have any money at the moment. The one I have is borrowed.

Til the End of Time is fairly cheap now I think...as for A Second Story though...you are looking at over $100 if you want it new...around $25-30 used on amazon though. Or you could just buy the PSP port of it (Second Evolution) & I am sure it's just as amazing & probably not too spendy :P I personally have not played through First Departure yet, although I need to since I don't have a Super Famicon to play the original lol...also there is a sequal to A Second Story called Star Ocean: Blue Sphere that is on GBC which I don't have. Oh so many games to play ; ;

My sweetie & I rented TLH / ps3 last night and it's a blast so far. We just started.
Gorgeous scenery - so who needs 'Avatar.'

Also, unlike 'Avatar,' mining for resources isn't portrayed as evil ...

Oh wow. Yeah. I won't be buying any new games for a while. So much to do even once I get a job. Games are like, the last on the list of priorities right now.

I know that feeling ; ; I hope that you are able to try them out soon though...the ones I have played are just amazing games. If you like those, you might try looking into the Lunar series...amazing games also. Although, they will be VERY expensive to buy if you find them ;;

Ok, so I just started on Star Ocean: The Last hope & so far it's awsome. I am loving the game mechanics...happy they didn't ruin the great battle system that they had in Til the End of Time, only improved it & made the AI better for your team-mates. Also...Reimi Saionji is so adorable its just disgusting!! Gotta be one of the cutest video game characters ever!
