Unless it involves General Anime Discussion, or General Convention Discussion, it does not belong in General Convention and Anime.
If It is any other topic outside of the context of Convention, Anime, or other on-topic conversation. It belongs in off-topic category, assuming it is appropriate content for the board in general.
