So. Who like to join and play a mini concert at the next con. We can play anime openings or closers. We could play game themes or songs from anime OST's or games.

I have a guitar and a violin. I can also beatbox if that counts....
I can play Most of the MGS theme (In learning). FF victory theme, Most of Bluebird (Naruto anime op 3)..More songs I dunno.

Um SRSLY?

?? I mean how are you going to get the room and time slot to do this... And even if we were to play songs I would NOT like to play Naruto or crappy generic songs sowwy Im a hard core music nerd and It doesnt really seem like a good idea. Plus there needs to be rehearsals and a LIST of songs that we would play....

Well I guess thats all you can ask me for song suggestions... I play guitar, piano, bassoon, flute, organ, vibes, and jazz piano too...

We don't have to play Naruto songs..Jeese...0_0 We don't have to preform either. It is just for fun. Naruto songs aren't crappy either.

We could maybe like playing music like hobo's for money in the halls....0_0

Post a song you might like to play and we can practice it and meet up. It also depends if your doing Harmoney or Melody.

OH so your talking about BUSKING in the hotel.... Sounds liek fun but I dont have an acoustic...

Plus i think that Saxophone guy's got it for the random music entertainment

Based on the fact that the hotel got pissed off about both me (8 years of classical/folk training and I was playing softly no less) and sax man probably means that playing music in con space is utterly out of the question, regardless of whether you're good or not.

Also, I'm failing to see how this has anything to do with cosplay.

It connects to cosplay by playing songs from animes or games.

I never new you guys had a big deal with music back then considering I am new.

Allright. It looks like this might be a good idea. So, what kind of songs you guys want to play.

I want to play "Alone" from Naruto and we play that we could do like a cheery song.

I would be on guitar. Anyways any other suggestions?

Your best bet would be to look into a "jam session" panel or have a music meetup.

If you can play the violin and play it well, you may have slightly redeemed yourself in my eyes.

I for one have no musical talent whatsoever. It pains me so because like Fry, I hear all this great music in my head but I can't let it out!

Thank you. Although it is not that fun unless you are playing a song you like. I don't like playing these oldy songs from our school so I am going to show my teacher something from MGS. This way I will be able to enjoy my instrument. Right now, I like the guitar. It's really fun. Because you can dance with it. You have to keep posture with a violin. I wish we could have a concert were we all just fiddle and dance..

That would be fun.

What DID the hotel like about us? Funny though I heard no bad or good things while I was there, until one of the con attendees told me all the flak she heard.

I'm sure whatever hotel we're at next, they'll approve of a room full of good music, especially the sax guy!
I mean he's like our hallway con BGM sound manager, kind of like the bucket-drums street dude downtown.
