I'm confused? Why isn't there a year 0? If one postulates the concept of linear time
(...having lived in a tent at a Buddhist Retreat Center summer 2008, trust me, there are faiths out there that don't assume time to be linear)
wouldn't whatever the beginning of the calculation of time, until the completion of an orbit, constitute year 0, celebrated by an anniversary that says "woo hoo now this 'verse is one year old" & the start of year 1? Like how human age is calculated (again, a subjective choice, varying across cultures and religions more than one might think).
Separately...still kinda clueless what I'll be doing.
If a new decade starts in the 01 year, why was there such a huge deal about the new **millenium** starting in 00 instead of 01?
