People from eugene?

I've heard kumoricon used to be a eugene event, but got too big. I'm just wondering how many people go to kumoricon from eugene now...

Er, I think Radien moved back here. His sister Amy might still live here, she was year one staff. Doesn't Brownie still live here?

And Wuntvor & his wife & daughter & her friends

& whomever goes to his Anime Friday these days

Plus I met some folks at Orycon who were part of KC the 1st in Eugene & still live here!

Actually my daughter and her best friend are now in Portland.  :)  I do have a group of people coming to Anime Friday regularly though.  Not all of them have been to KumoriCon.  Still swing on by sometime.  I live in the Bethel/Danebo area of Eugene.  LTD bus #40.

I live close by Eugene...still wanted to go to the convention in Portland, but I probably never will now.

So why haven't you come to Anime Friday yet?  I saw your Deviant Art site.  I think you would fit in great here!  My daughter is a MAJOR Sonic The Hedgehog fan and my wife is a Published "Furry" artist who does commission work. We have nice toys like the Adobe CS4 Suite, Corel Painter, ToonBoom, a wide carriage photo printer, a high res scanner, and a pen tablet.  All the nice toys artists like to play with.

We also have a sewing machine, a serger, and an embroidery machine, for those who like cosplay.  As well as software for custom designing patterns to fit you.

Oh, and you can watch anime.   ;D  Lots and Lots of anime.  A few years worth of anime in fact.  ::)

Parents are welcome to come as well.

Historically for me the main issue has been living with a decidedly-non-otaku boyfriend for the past few years who works overnight shifts, ending on Friday, Friday night being our first chance to hang out all week.
We're still roommates though no longer "together" so it's unclear whether we'll still hang out Friday nights or not.
