I was wondering if anyone wanted to do a meet up at washington park all anime meetups for photo shoots and such ^_^

yush!! my idea.. coming to mild fruition!

okay so washington park is NEXT to the zoo, if you wanna drive there the two best routes is off of burnside in sw portland near the zubans... OR taking hwy 26 and getting off at the washington park/zoo exit.. the exit right before the tunnel if your heading into portland, or right after if leaving portland. although i think a much easier route is to take the red or blue line max's to the washington park/zoo stop that is the only one underground, you then take the elevators waaaay up and get off, head right down the road then swing right through the parking lot down the next road, the best spot for pictures is about halfway down (but its soooo worth it) its a bit of a walk for those of you wanting to take the max so bring lotsa water and stuff..
buuut yeah... ask if ya have questions *looks around excitedly*

theres a map of it (its a massive park) my favorite viewing spot is that weird crossroads near the center in between the two salmon colored patches.

i didn't know the japanese garden was near there o3o i need to ask them about their photo requirements...cause they mention things but idk about cosplay pictures. but i want the weather to be nicer

admission to the park im sure is free but the japanese gardens is:

This may be fun. Depending on the date I could try and come. My Cassandra cosplay may even be done at that point.
I live like, a max stop away so it would all depend on the date.

How about sometime in April or May? Memorial day weekend would be best... except for that Saturday. Thats my birthday and I have a policy of not doing anything that day.

I can only go up there once a month, max. So I would be unhappy if it were in April (S-con) or May (Yaoi yuri picnic).
I'd dig if it was over the summer, like after school got out
